    • A storm-water redistribution device and installation are described for providing headloss and redistribution of a flow of storm-water runoff. The device includes an elongate, tubular, geotextile enclosure having a plurality of transverse partitions therein that form a plurality of segments along the length of the device. Each segment is filled with a particulate material, such as gravel having a desired grade size or distribution thereof. Longitudinal partitions are provided to form one or more transversely positioned compartments. The device is installed perpendicular to a slope to intercept runoff flows. The flow infiltrates the device and is diverted into vertical infiltrating flow, longitudinal flow that distributes the flow along the device length, and transverse flow that exits the opposite side of the device as overland or subsurface flow of reduced velocity. The partitions enable retention of the particulate materials in desired positions within the device during manipulation and use.

    • An underground infiltration tank module comprising a four-sided periphery formed of a top periphery wall, a bottom periphery wall, and two side periphery walls, a plurality of channels running from the top periphery wall to the bottom periphery wall, holes formed in the channels, strut members running between the channels, and stud members located on the periphery walls. Any two of the plurality of channels are separate from each other such that any part of one channel is not in contact with any part of another channel. The channels alternately face in opposite directions.

    • A water storage cell (2) is positioned underneath a pavement (4). An upper boundary of the cell (2) is formed by a surface (6) or wearing course of the pavement (4). The remaining boundary of the cell is defined by a water-retaining layer (8) that may pen-nit infiltration of water into the surrounding ground. Means for enhancing the evaporation rate of the water in the cell are provided. As shown a ventilated pathway (20) extends between a vent (22) and a flue (24) and is surrounded by means such as a liner, suspended dished panels, absorbent mats (32) or particulate material with surface absorbency characteristics to detain water in contact with the airflow in the pathway (20). The cell (2) can be used in a SUDS system without an outfall with both permeable and impermeable pavements.

    • A subsurface wastewater infiltration system including a subsurface dripline enclosed within a porous medium or chamber providing storage volume around the dripline. The porous medium or chamber may be covered with a geotextile or filter material and sealed at dripline inlet and outlet to prevent soil intrusion. The chamber illustratively contains access openings to the ground surface allowing inspection and maintenance of the disposal system without excavation. The access openings provide air recirculation within the disposal system for proper operation and treatment of the effluent.
