摘要： In an electrical connector, it is possible to more reliably suppress unexpected displacement of an actuator, and it is possible to more reliably bring contacts into contact with conductive portions of a flexible connection member. The actuator (20) of the electrical connector (11) is configured such that pressure contact between the contacts (21) and the flexible connection member (8) is canceled by the actuator (20) being arranged at an open position (A1), and the contacts (21) are brought into pressure contact with the flexible connection member (8) by the actuator (20) being arranged at a closed position (A2). A provisional holding mechanism (51) can hold the actuator (20) at a provisional hold position (A3) when the flexible connection member (8) is not connected to the electrical connector (11). The provisional holding mechanism (51) includes first engagement portions (52) provided on a housing (22), and second engagement portions (53) provided on the actuator (20). Engagement of the first engagement portions (52) and the second engagement portions (53) is prevented by insertion of the flexible connection member (8) between the housing (22) and the actuator (20).

摘要： An interface card fastening module is provided for assembling an interface card to a housing and electrically connecting the interface card with a main board having an insertion slot corresponding to the interface card, and the opening of the insertion slot is substantially parallel to the main board. The interface card fastening module includes a stopping member and an engaging member rotatably disposed on the housing so as to be movable between a release position and an engage position. Therefore, upon assembling the interface card to the main board, additional riser card would be not required. As a result, the space for installing an adapting member can be saved, and more components may be received in the housing or the size of the housing may become smaller. In addition, since the adapting member is no more needed, the manufacturing cost and assembling hours for the adapting member can be saved.

The clip includes a retaining mechanism retaining the chip module and a central opening provided for a part portion of the chip module going through. The clip has an anti-mismating member.
