    • A noise reduction device includes a noise controller, a control sound output component and a residual sound detector. The noise controller is configured to produce a control sound signal for canceling out noise. The control sound output component is configured to output a control sound based on the control sound signal produced by the noise controller. The residual sound detector is configured to detect a residual sound produced by superposition of noise and the control sound outputted from the control sound output component. The control sound output component and the residual sound detector are housed in the shell. The control sound output component and the residual sound detector are away from a rear face of the seat.

    • A noise control device according to the present invention comprises: four or more noise detectors each for detecting a plurality of noises arriving thereat, and outputting the noises as a noise signal; a control speaker for radiating, to a control point, a control sound based on each noise signal; and a filter section for signal-processing noise signals from the noise detectors by using filter coefficients which respectively correspond to the four or more noise detectors and which are set such that the control sound from the control speaker reduces the plurality of noises arriving at the control point, and for adding up all the signal-processed noise signals, and for outputting a resultant signal to the control speaker. The control point and the control speaker are provided within a polyhedral-shaped space whose apexes are placement positions of the noise detectors.

    • A silencing apparatus for effectively reducing noises in the three dimension space which detects physical characteristics of the noise source by the laser doppler sensor unit during the noise source comes close to the telephone booth, and collects acoustic characteristics of the noise source by the sensor microphone array. The control portion generates an inverse-phased signal against the noise source so that the noises are decreased at the error sensor, and stores the noise source information (physical characteristics and the acoustic characteristics) and the generated inverse-phased signal. When the same noise source come closely, the voice is generated from the speaker using the inverse-phased signal stored in the memory. The control potion generates an inverse-phased voice from the speaker when the collected noise by the sensor microphone is actually over a certain threshold level.
