摘要： A method for forming images on a silver halide color photographic photosensitive material having a substrate and photographic structural layers thereon, including, at least three silver halide color photosensitive layers having different photosensitive regions, respectively, and at least one non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer is disclosed. At least one of the photosensitive layers contains 90 mol % or more of silver chloride. Shortly after the silver halide color photographic photosensitive material has been scan-exposed with laser beams, the material is rapid-processed with a low replenishing amount.

摘要： The invention provides a color negative photographic element comprising a light sensitive silver halide emulsion imaging layer having associated therewith a cyan dye-forming coupler dispersion comprising a first 2-ureido-5-acylamino substituted phenolic cyan dye-forming coupler [P], a second phenolic cyan dye-forming coupler [AP] where the 2-substituent is other than an ureido group, a substantially non-color-developable phenolic activator compound [ACT], and a non-phenolic organic coupler solvent having a boiling point of at least 150C; wherein compounds represented by [P], [AP], and [ACT] are present in the coupler dispersion in relative weight fractions of from 0.30 to 0.65 for [P], from 0.15 to 0.35 for [AP], and from 0.15 to 0.35 for [ACT], provided the sum of the relative weight fractions for [P]+[AP]+[ACT]=1, and the weight ratio of the non-phenolic coupler solvent in the coupler dispersion is from 0.30 to 2.0 relative to the sum of [P]+[AP]+[ACT]. Photographic elements incorporating the dispersion formulation of this invention provide good activity, a cyan dye of high density and acceptable absorption maximum for color negative films. In addition, partial substitution of less expensive cyan auxiliary phenolic coupler [AP] and activator [ACT] for cyan phenolic coupler [P] advantageously allows cost savings.

摘要： The invention provides a photographic element comprising at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith: (A) a phenolic cyan dye-forming narrow bandwidth “NB coupler”; (B) a phenolic cyan dye-forming coupler of formula (II): wherein: R3 is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or aryl group or a 5-10 membered heterocyclic ring which contains one or more heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, which ring is unsubstituted or substituted; R4 is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group; R5 is hydrogen, halogen or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or aryl group or a 5-10 membered heterocyclic ring which contains one or more heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, which ring is unsubstituted or substituted; and Z is a hydrogen atom or a group which can be split off by the reaction of the coupler with an oxidized color-developing agent; and (C) a stabilizer of formula (III) wherein: each Y is an independently selected substituent and m is 0 to 4; and each T is an independently selected substituent and p is 0 to 4. Preferably the element has associated therewith one or more high-boiling solvents of formula (IV) wherein: R1 is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or aryl group; and G is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group.

摘要： An improved photographic element comprises a support bearing at least one silver halide emulsion layer having associated therewith a pyrocatechol compound that functions as a scavenger for oxidized developing agent. The pyrocatechol compound has sufficient bulk that it is substantially non-diffusible in the photographic element and has in the four-position thereof a tertiary carbamoyl substituent. These scavenger compounds exhibit very high activity, have excellent stability upon long-term storage and do not leave colored residues after processing.
