摘要： A superconducting magnet may include magnet coils including at least one group of outer coils and at least one group of inner coils, a container including an accommodating space, at least one first chamber that is disposed within the accommodating space and houses the at least one group of the inner coils, and at least one second chamber that is disposed within the accommodating space and houses the at least one group of the outer coils. The at least one first chamber and the at least one second chamber may be configured to be filled with a cooling medium and are in fluid communication with each other. The cooling medium may be configured to cool the magnet coils to a superconducting state.

The magnet provides an offset imaging volume (35) in a recess with an isocentre that is positioned closer to the patient end than an opposite end. The magnet has at least three groups of coils (44, 45, 46) in a generally tapering arrangement. The magnet also has an additional group of coils (47). A first group of coils (44) overlaps the additional group of coils (47), such that a bottom portion (47″) of the additional group of coils (47) is positioned closer to the patient end of the magnet than a top portion (44′) of the first group of coils (44).

摘要： An electric coil apparatus has at least two subcoils from a superordinate doubly connected tape conductor. The coil apparatus has at least two conductor branches, each of the subcoils being wound from one of these conductor branches respectively. The conductor branches of the superordinate tape conductor have a superordinate first surface and a superordinate second surface facing away from this first surface. In a first subcoil, the first surface of the tape conductor faces a centerpoint of the first subcoil, and in a second subcoil, the second surface of the tape conductor faces a centerpoint of the second subcoil. Furthermore, in a manufacturing method of such a coil apparatus the two conductor branches are routed parallel to each other so as to dorm the subcoils.

摘要： An NMR spectrometer and method in the following three steps are performed. (1) An external magnetic field is set to H0+ΔH (where 4H>0). When the detection coil made of the superconducting material is still in a normal state, a magnetic field stronger than the ultimate target static magnetic field strength H0 by ΔH is applied to the detection coil. (2) The detection coil made of the superconducting material is cooled down to T0 lower than its critical temperature Tc to bring the coil into a superconducting state while the external magnetic field H0+ΔH is applied to the detection coil. (3) The external magnetic field is lowered from H0+ΔH to H0 such that the applied external magnetic field is decreased by ΔH while the detection coil is kept in the superconducting state.
