摘要： A metering device for the volumetric metering of powder, including pharmaceutical powder, and the simultaneous metering and filling of target cavities with metered powder, as well as a metering system and an associated method are shown. One embodiment of the metering device includes a metering station with a powder storage container, a filling station, and a movable metering member. The metering member has a flat transfer surface that includes metering cavities, which correspond in number and geometry to target cavities arranged in the filling station, and also to metering openings in the metering station. The metering cavities each have an open end and a base, wherein an air-permeable filter element forms at least a part of the base of each. The metering member includes a central pressure channel connected to the metering cavities through the filter elements for applying a negative or positive pressure to the metering cavities.

摘要： A pipette for volumetrically metering powder includes an outer metering casing enclosing a metering chamber. The metering casing defines a free end of the pipette whereat the metering casing forms an opening. The metering chamber has an opposite end lying opposite to the free end of the pipette and the opposite end of the metering chamber is delimited by an air-permeable retaining element. The retaining element is configured as a flexible filter defining a plane and having a back side facing away from the metering chamber. An air-permeable support core supports the filter at the back side thereof and is rigid transversely to the plane of the filter.

摘要： A dispensing device for dosage of powdered material comprises a closed housing containing the powdered material and provided with a laterally displaced outlet for the dosed powdered material. An external manually operated sledge is arranged between the housing and the outlet. The sledge has a through-going pocket for containing the desired dose of the powdered material. When operating the sledge, the through-going pocket is moved from a position in the housing to a position in the outlet so as to effect dispensing of the dose of the powdered material through the action of gravity. The sledge also has an agitator comprising two posts and a bracket that extends between the posts for agitating the powdered material within the housing. The bracket is slightly arched and the leading edge inclines obliquely downwardly so as to press the powdered material towards the pocket when operating the sledge.

摘要： A method for metering powders as well as a powder metering device are described which are used in particular for preparing combinatorial material libraries. The powder metering device includes a metering element having a tubular supply vessel open on one end for taking up the powder to be metered and a plunger which is axially movable and which reversibly closes the end of the tubular supply vessel opposite the opening. To take up the powder, the opening of the metering element is first plunged with a predetermined force into a loose fill of the powder to be metered previously charged in a metering receiver.

摘要： A flowable material can be transferred from a contained mass of material to a remote container, by using a manual scooping implement that includes an elongated hollow tube having a funnel configuration. One end of the tube is closed, while the other end is open to form an exit opening. An entrance opening in the tube side wall near the closed end of the tube enables the tube to be inserted downwardly into a mass of flowable material to capture some of the material within the tube. The tube can be inverted for pouring the captured material into a container.

摘要： The apparatus for sequentially distributing liquid in more than one direction, comprises a support and a reservoir connected to the support. The reservoir is rotatable and tiltable with respect to the support between a rest position where the liquid received therein accumulates and a flush position where liquid stored therein is flushed out via the spout. The spout is oriented such that the liquid flushing out of the reservoir causes by reaction a rotational movement of the reservoir with respect to the support. A counterweight is provided for urging the reservoir towards its rest position, the effect of the counterweight being cancelled when the liquid accumulated in the reservoir reaches a given quantity causing the reservoir to move towards its flush position and to rotate. Releasable stopping means are preferably provided for stopping sequentially the rotational movement of the reservoir in a number of successive radial positions around the support, each time the reservoir is tilted from its rest position to its flush position and is caused to rotate.
