摘要： An optical module applied to a fiber optic sensor. The optical module comprises a housing (11), a circuit board (12) installed in the housing (11) and a digital-to-analog conversion circuit (121), a light source control circuit (122) and an electro-optic conversion unit (123) installed on the circuit board (12) and sequentially and electrically connected. Also installed on the circuit board (12) and sequentially and electrically connected are an opto-electronic conversion unit (124), a signal filter amplification circuit (125) and an analog-to-digital conversion circuit (126), and a circuit interface (127) installed on the circuit board (12) is separately and electrically connected to the digital-to-analog conversion circuit (121) and the analog-to-digital conversion circuit (126) respectively. The optical module enables control of a fiber optic sensor and modularization of acquisition circuits, thus providing an application system for a fiber optic sensor with a simple and low-cost structure.

摘要： Deriving data for calibration or improving the positioning of a computer-controlled machine comprising a movable carrier for changing the position of a first machine part relative that of second machine part. The carrier is moved to a plurality of carrier positions such that the position of the first machine part relative to that of the second machine part changes for each of said plurality of positions. At each carrier position, a pattern generator attached to the first machine part is illuminated with at least one illuminator such that at least one three-dimensional pattern of light is created in space. Position data related to the position of said carrier is recorded and images of said at least one three-dimensional pattern are recorded in at least two different optical configurations of said at least one illuminator, said pattern generator, and at least one camera. Said recorded image data is compared with image data of a reference database comprising interrelated image and position data related to the three-dimensional pattern of light in space of the pattern generator, and pairs of similar images are found. Image translation off set data is derived for each pair of similar images, and translation and rotation data are derived for calibration or improving the positioning of the computer-controlled machine based on image translation offset data related to a plurality of different optical configurations.

摘要： A method is provided for detecting a reciprocal position between a cylinder and a piston of a piston-cylinder unit of a vehicle. The method includes measuring, by means of an optical sensor, a value of an indicative parameter of a color of a reference mark positioned on a portion of the piston. The method also includes comparing the measured value with at least a predetermined threshold value thereof different to a minimum detected threshold of the indicative parameter by the optical sensor; andemitting an alarm signal perceptible by a driver of a vehicle if the measured value is comprised between the threshold value and the minimum value.

摘要： Positional information of a movable body in a Y-axis direction is measured using an interferometer and an encoder whose short-term stability of measurement values excels when compared with the interferometer, and based on the measurement results, a predetermined calibration operation for obtaining correction information for correcting measurement values of the encoder is performed. Accordingly, by using measurement values of the interferometer, correction information for correcting the measurement values of the encoder whose short-term stability of the measurement values excels the interferometer is obtained. Then, based on the measurement values of the encoder and the correction information, the movable body is driven in the Y-axis direction with good precision.

Gas cylinders in each bin are separated from each other to form an x-y cylinder array. 摘要： A laser-based spectroscopy system that combines a distance/proximity standoff sensor, a high-repetition rate laser spectroscopy system, and software with a decision-making algorithm embedded in a processing unit which in combination performs selective firing of the laser when the target object is within an interrogation zone. In a related embodiment, the system provides selective sorting of spectroscopic signals based on information from the standoff signal and from information contained in the spectral signals themselves. The laser emission can be actively controlled while keeping the laser firing, thereby preserving the thermal stability and hence the power of the laser; and the standoff sensor information and the spectral information can be combined to determine the proper relative weighting or importance of each piece of spectral information.
