摘要： Embodiments of the invention provide high-efficiency cooling in a data center in response to a cooling and/or humidity demand using a system having multiple cooling loops to allow for a higher chilled liquid temperature of a first chilled liquid loop, while maintaining data center room temperature and humidity control. Specifically, the system includes a plurality of integrated cooling systems each comprising one or more specifically sized chillers and a liquid loop to address the cooling demand. A free cooling heat exchanger is coupled to the first liquid loop for use when a wet-bulb temperature surrounding the data center is at or below a free cooling set point of the first chilled liquid loop. The system isolates humidity control components to a second chilled liquid loop, and enables greater control of the first chilled liquid loop of the data center to meet specific IT loads.

摘要： A cooling process for live salmon from breeding cages in the sea, using a cooling mixture consisting of ice and common salt in fresh water that is placed in a cooling tank mounted on a truck for the transport of the fish, wherein the process is constituted by the following steps: a) The input of the fish into the cooling tank, without transferring the seawater in which they were bred, which is at a temperature between −0.7 to −3.9° C. to cause their unconsciousness; and b) The transportation of the fish at this temperature to the slaughter plant. This cooling process for live salmon respects the bioethical norms for achieving the death of fish with reduced suffering after rapidly inducing unconsciousness, allowing the production of high quality products.

摘要： Apparatus for aiding in the ripening of produce that includes a sealed container having a refrigeration unit for supplying conditioned air for cooling produce stored in a container. A gas generator is arranged to mix a ripening gas with conditioned air within the container. A fresh air exchanger is integrated into the refrigeration unit for venting conditioned air from the container to ambient and exchanging the vented air with outside fresh air. The fresh air exchanger is automatically operated by a controller which coordinates the cycling of the gas generator with the exchange of fresh air so that the ripening process can be closely regulated.
