摘要： A fluid regulator includes an actuator assembly disposed in a valve body. A sleeve includes a cylindrical wall, a first plate, and a second plate. Each of the first plate and the second plate is disposed in a cavity of the sleeve. A stem extends through the sleeve and is axially aligned with a longitudinal axis of the body, and includes a passage extending partially through the stem. The actuator assembly includes first and second pistons. First, second, third, and fourth chambers are separately disposed between the sleeve, the first or second plate, or the first or second piston. The first and third chambers are in fluid communication, and the second and fourth chambers are in fluid communication via the passage of the stem. The actuator assembly actuates a control element in response to a fluid pressure receivable in the first, second, third, and/or fourth chambers.

摘要： A valve having a simple configuration that prevents the seat from being damaged by self-excited oscillation of the valve body and thus prevents seat leakage is disclosed. The valve includes a valve casing having a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a valve chamber; the valve chamber including a seat having a seat surface; a stem inserted into the valve casing so that the stem can be vertically movable; and a valve body arranged at a tip of the stem and capable of abutting on the seat surface of the seat due to the vertical movement of the stem such that a tip part of the valve body does not come into contact with the seat surface due to oscillation of the stem.

摘要： A valve element is provided comprising an inlet configured to receive a fluid at a first pressure, a vent that can be blocked or unblocked to vent fluid from the valve element, and a port formed in an actuating surface of the valve element at which the fluid is at a second pressure. A first internal fluid passage connects the inlet to the vent, and a second internal fluid passage connects the port to the first internal fluid passage at an angle with respect to the first fluid passage. The port is configured to be closed such that the net flow of fluid into and out of the port is substantially zero. The valve element is configured such that the second pressure is substantially equal to the first pressure when the vent is blocked and substantially lower than the first pressure when the vent is not blocked.

摘要： The present disclosure pertains to a system for controlling a leak flow rate during respiratory therapy. The system is configured to determine a leak flow rate necessary for CO2 expulsion for an individual subject and facilitate control of the leak flow rate during therapy such that the system exhausts substantially the entire exhaled volume of gas during an expiration of the subject. The system facilitates control of the leak flow rate during therapy via an adjustable leak valve. Determining the leak flow rate for the subject and facilitating control of the leak rate may minimize noise from air flow in the system, minimize the power draw needed by a pressure generator of the system, reduce a loss of medicine added to the respiratory therapy gas, and/or have other advantages, while still expelling the desired amount of CO2.
