摘要： A journal bearing assembly includes a first journal bearing disposed about a longitudinal end of a gear shaft and spaced a first distance from a first axial gear face. A first fluid film location and a first hybrid pad location are annularly between an inner surface of the first journal bearing and an outer surface of the gear shaft. The first hybrid pad location circumferentially adjacent to the first fluid film location has a minimum leading edge angular location of at least about 31.0° measured relative to a first bearing flat. A first porting path provides high pressure fluid communication from a location outside the first journal bearing to the first fluid film location at or adjacent to the first hybrid pad location.

摘要： A sealing arrangement is disclosed for a rotating shaft. A mechanical seal and a throttle bushing are mounted in a pump casing having a process fluid chamber and an end region. A shaft is rotatably mounted in the pump casing. The seal has a stationary portion mounted to the pump casing, and a rotatable portion mounted to the shaft. A throttle bushing surrounds the shaft and is connected to the casing. The throttle bushing has an inner surface that provides a fluid passageway between the inner surface of the throttle bushing and the shaft. The throttle bushing is spaced along the shaft at an axial distance from the mechanical seal, thus forming a barrier fluid space. The mechanical seal separates the barrier fluid space from the process fluid chamber. Barrier fluid migrates past the throttle busing inner surface, lubricates the pump bearings and gears, and is collected for reuse.

摘要： An object is to provide a scroll compressor capable of avoiding problems caused by abnormal wear of a retaining ring used to prevent a cylindrical ring from being detached. The scroll compressor includes a crank shaft having a crank pin (6C) at a shaft end, a drive bush (10) into which the crank pin (6C) is fitted, a cylindrical ring (11) that is rotatably fitted to an outer periphery of the drive bush (10) and whose axial movement is inhibited by a retaining ring (27) mounted on the tip of the crank pin (6C), a drive bearing that is fitted to an outer periphery of the cylindrical ring (11). An orbiting scroll fitted to an outer periphery of the drive bearing is driven in an orbiting manner through the rotation of the crank shaft. A rotation inhibitor that interferes with the retaining ring (27) to inhibit the rotation of the retaining ring (27) is provided on an end surface of the drive bush (10).

摘要： Various rotary pumps are disclosed that are designed to pump viscous fluids or slurries. Often, the seals of such pumps can become over heated. The disclosed pumps include slots disposed in the rotors and/or slots disposed in the openings through which the drive and driven shafts task so that some of the fluid being pumped through the pumping chamber can migrate through the proximal wall of the pump casing to the seal assemblies disposed on the other side of the proximal wall of the pump casing. Thus, the seal assemblies of the pumps are cooled without resorting to the use of a cooling jacket or other cooling mechanism.

The compressor includes a housing; a first rotating shaft mounted in the housing; a connecting assembly sleeved on the first rotating shaft; and a first rotor assembly including a first rotor and a second rotor coaxially disposed on the connecting assembly. The connecting assembly carries the first rotor and the second rotor to rotate about the first rotating shaft together. The connecting assembly is configured to limit the relative positions of the first rotor and the second rotor, such that there exists a clearance between the first rotor and the second rotor. The present disclosure can maintain a clearance between the first rotor and the second rotor without increasing the number of components of the compressor.
