摘要： A cover for a garage door which includes a front portion adapted to cover a street facing surface of the garage door, and a pair of rear portions adapted to be arranged covering a garage facing surface of the garage door. The cover also includes at least four collars adapted to be arranged at corners of the garage door. Each collar defines a cutout extending inwardly from an edge of the cover to facilitate an extension of an associated corner of the garage door outside the cover, a first coupling portion extending along the rear portion from the cutout to a lateral edge of the cover, and a second coupling portion extending from the cutout in a direction opposite to the first coupling portion. The first coupling portion is adapted to engage with the second coupling portion.

摘要： Fire can spread extremely quickly within structures. To prevent this, fire doors or fire shutters are usually installed. However, security aspects of such doors or shutters are not renown. An attempt to alleviate this problem may be provided by an insulated fire panel shutter including a guide, adapted to receive a shutter and having one or more retractable members moveable between a retracted and extended position; a shutter, moveable between an open and closed position and formed from a plurality of panels each of which is moveable between a stowed and deployed position; their arrangement being such that as the guide receives the shutter during shutter closure, the panel arrangement alters from a stowed side by side relationship to a deployed stacked end to end relationship.

The doors may be configured to be locked shut with a system of pneumatic locks. The main door may be configured to open and close as controlled by pneumatic pressure applied to a door cylinder. The pneumatic system may be configured to be controlled by an interior control box. The pneumatic system may be configured to operate off of pneumatic pressure in an auxiliary air tank, the pressure being protected by a series of one-way check valves. The pneumatic system may also be configured to operate wirelessly using RFID or Bluetooth technology, among other things, to secure the cargo and facilitate ingress and egress to the trailer.

摘要： Systems and methods for manufacturing carriage house style sectional doors. A plurality of fabricated door sections, each section having a length that spans the garage opening. Each section includes an upper molding, a lower molding, and a paneled skin interposed between the upper and lower moldings. Each section is separately fabricated and then hingedly attached to an adjacent section via a plurality of hinges. The paneled skin is fabricated by bending a piece of sheet metal to provide a plurality of alternating raised and recessed surfaces. The paneled skin further includes features for coupling an upper and lower end of the paneled skin to the upper and lower moldings. Once completed, the hinged door sections are installed to selectively cover the garage opening. In yet another embodiment, a raised surface of the paneled skin creates a cavity into which a finger guard is inserted.

摘要： A panel overlay system for embellishing an existing metal multi-panel articulating overhead garage door is disclosed. Plural lightweight panels are removably attached to the panels of the existing garage door with magnets. Each panel comprises an underlayment sheet that provides a relatively rigid structural backing, and thin wood veneer adhesively bonded to the outer-facing major surface of the backing sheet. The veneer includes plural vertical demarcations; when multiple panels are installed the demarcations on adjacent panels align to give the appearance of elongated vertical boards. Vertical and horizontal members are placed at desired positions on the veneer—typically the vertical members are aligned along the side edges of the panel and the horizontal member extends across the middle of the panel so that the entire installation provides the appearance of a garage door typical of the well-known rail and stile carriage house design.
