摘要： A vacuum insulated glass (VIG) unit frame assembly is disclosed comprising: a rectangular vacuum insulated glass unit comprising two glass sheets separated by a sealed gap, wherein a plurality of support structures are distributed in the gap, and a frame arrangement comprising elongated frame profile arrangements which frames the vacuum insulated glass unit in a frame opening, and wherein the frame arrangement comprises a fixation system fixating the vacuum insulated glass unit at the frame arrangement, wherein the frame is arranged so as to allow edges of the vacuum insulated glass unit to thermally deflect in a deflection direction perpendicular to the frame opening plane due to a temperature difference (ΔT=T1−T2) between the two glass sheets, and to provide a restriction of the thermal deflection of the edges, so as to reduce the magnitude of the thermal deflection compared to an unrestricted thermal deflection of the edges at the temperature difference (ΔT=T1−T2).

摘要： An expandable flashing device comprises first and second pieces of flashing material that overlap one another with hems or folded edges located on opposite lateral sides of the pieces that hold the pieces together, yet allow the pieces to slide or shift with respect to one another to selectively change the length of the device. In a first stowed position, the pieces overlap one another and in an expanded second position, the pieces may be pulled apart to increase an overall length of the pieces. The maximum length of material that overlaps between the pieces is defined as the overlap range. The overlap range defines the range to which the device can be shortened or lengthened to fit a particular installation. A flashing system and a method of installing flashing are also disclosed.

摘要： Universal window structure which may be used as a single hung window, as a hopper window and as a right or left hand glider window without alteration is disclosed. Mulling means for securing a plurality of the window structures together, retaining clips for securing a screen thereto, false muntin structure, hurricane clips and piggyback storm window structure therefor and window trim structure for use therewith are specifically disclosed along with unique glazing strips, an insert for supporting sash balance structure, sealing strips and corner inserts, sash pivot structure, lock structure, sash guide and tilt release structure and hopper lock means for retaining the window sash in a plurality of separate tilted hopper positions. The frame of the window structure is constructed to permit rapid, accurate assembly with a minimum of low tolerance parts and to this end includes frame jamb adaptor extrusions. In addition, the total frame design allows many design variations whereby the universal window structure may be applied to and fit different building needs without additional job working or processing.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to an aperture cover (1) such as a window. The aperture cover comprises a vacuum insulated glass unit (3) and a frame (2). The interior major surface (S2) of the vacuum insulated glass unit is configured to compress the resilient sealing gasket (10) when moving the sash (6) from an open to a closed position.

摘要： A seal that can be used in groove surfaces, in permanent glasswork, or in casement windows and is comprised of a sealing profile 1 having a profile base 3 and an anchoring wedge 2. On the side of the profile base 3 that is opposite the anchoring wedge 2, a sealing pad 4 and a sealing lip 5 are formed, and a nose strip 6 is positioned on the end of the sealing pad 4. These parts of the sealing profile 1 are made of a thermoplastic rubber. They are to be joined to the semi-finished closure of the window shortly following extrusion by the manufacturer. The corresponding semi-finished product can then be cut to size and joined by the window builder with the sealing profiles 1 being bonded together at the same time so that the entire seal is guaranteed. This makes the window builder's step of "inserting the sealing profile" completely unnecessary.
