摘要： A locking cartridge including a housing, first and second plates rotatably mounted in the housing, a blocking member, and a movable member. The cartridge also includes a cam interface which urges the first plate toward the second plate when the plates are rotated. The blocking member is configured to move among a blocking position and an unblocking position in response to engagement with a first cut on a key. When in the blocking position, the blocking member blocks the first plate from moving toward the second plate. With the second plate blocked from moving toward the first plate, the cam interface prevents rotation of the first plate. The movable member is configured to move among a first position and a second position in response to engagement with a second cut on the key. In certain embodiments, the movable member may be a control pin or a second blocking member.

摘要： A programmable cylinder lock includes a stator and a cylindrical rotor, mounted therein for rotation around its own axis and having a keyhole, a number of key followers movable along their own longitudinal and transversal directions, intended to cooperate with a key inserted into the keyhole, a number of locking pins movable along their own longitudinal direction, the key followers and locking pins forming together a number of pairs and having toothings cooperating to define the lock codification, the rotor including a stop bar cooperating with a longitudinal groove of the stator and having projections cooperating with notches of the locking pins to immobilize them when the stop bar engages them, and a change bar slidingly coupled with the key followers to normally keep them engaged with the locking pins and to disengage them therefrom when the change bar provides a lock programming position.

摘要： This invention is to provide a method for rekeying a rekeyable lock cylinder. The first step of entire rekeying process is to insert a first user key into a keyhole of a sliding block of a plug assembly and turn the first user key to rotate the plug assembly, then a thrust is added to the first user key to move the sliding block of the plug assembly, thereby disengaging a plurality of upper locking pieces and a plurality of lower locking pieces within a plurality of lower pin sets. Next, after pulling out the first user key from the keyhole, a second user key is inserted into the keyhole of the sliding block and turned to restore the sliding block as to reengage the upper locking pieces and the lower locking pieces. Finally, the second user key is pulled out to complete the entire rekeying process. Accordingly, the present invention may provide advantages of widely lowering rekeying cost and enhancing convenience in use, because lock replacement may be completed as soon as rekeying another user key only without replacing lock cylinder.

This is applicable to pin tumbler locks and locks of the type in which a latch means is actued by movement of actuating members through associated slots in latch elements there being two sets of latch elements such that when the slots in each set of elements are aligned, the actuating members can pass through. One set of latch elements are positioned by a setting key and the other set are positioned by a corresponding access key.

摘要： A lock apparatus includes a lock core device received in a lock core chamber of a lock body and having a key operable lock core, a shackle member with a leg portion inserted into a shackle insert hole in the lock body, and a catch member received in a catch chamber that extends from the lock core chamber to the shackle insert hole. The lock core device has a latch member disposed in the catch chamber and formed with a pin hole that is eccentric to an axis of the lock core. The catch member has a first end portion for engaging the shackle member, and an opposite second end portion formed with a pin which extends rotatably into the pin hole for engaging the latch member such that the catch member is movable between locking and unlocking positions during locking and unlocking movement of the latch member.
