摘要： There is provided an adhesive composition comprising (a) one or more polyisocyanate, (b) one or more polyol, and (c) one or more plasticizer, wherein the amount of excess monomeric polyisocyanate is 5% or less by weight based on the weight of said composition. Also provided is process for making a laminate, said process comprising applying a layer of that adhesive composition to a polymer film, contacting said layer with a second polymer film, and then curing said adhesive composition or allowing said adhesive composition to cure. Further provided is a laminate made by such a process.

摘要： Provided is a coating composition containing (a) a resinous binder composition including an epoxy-functional polymer; and (b) a solid particulate composition dispersed in the resinous binder composition including (i) an electrically conductive material and (ii) a corrosion inhibitive material. The electrically conductive material (i) and the corrosion inhibitive material (ii) are present in a weight ratio of the conductive material (i) to the corrosion inhibitive material (ii) ranging from 1:8 to 12:1. The composition is characterized in that when applied to a conductive substrate to form a coating thereon, the coating is weldable. Coated substrates and related methods are further provided.

摘要： A closed cell, rigid polymer foam which comprises the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and an isocyanate-reactive component in the presence of a catalyst and a hydrogen-containing blowing agent or a mixture of a hydrogen-containing blowing agent and at least one co-blowing agent wherein the isocyanate-reactive component comprises (a) a hydroxy terminated polyester having an equivalent weight greater than about 350, or (b) a mixture of the hydroxy terminated polyester with at least one other isocyanate-reactive compound. Foams prepared with the hydroxy terminated polyester have superior shrinkage resistance, strength and long-term insulating efficiency.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a polyol blend comprising:(a) from about 30 to about 90 percent by weight of a polyester diol having an OH number of from about 50 to about 500 and having the structure: ##STR1## wherein each R may be the same or different and represents a radical of the formula: ##STR2## where R" represents H or CH.sub.3 with the proviso that both R"s cannot be CH.sub.3, and y represents a number of from 1 to 5,wherein R' represents an aromatic radical having from 6 to 12 carbon atoms, and wherein x represents a number of from 0 to 5,(b) from about 2 to about 40 percent by weight of an organic compound containing from 3 to 8 hydroxyl groups and being selected from the group consisting of(i) compounds having OH numbers of from about 250 to about 1830 and being free of carboxylic acid ester groups,(ii) compounds having OH numbers of from about 150 to about 1000 and containing at least one carboxylic acid ester group, and(iii) mixtures thereof,(c) from about 5 to about 30 percent by weight of a condensation product formed from 1 mole of a phenol and from 4 to 15 moles of ethylene oxide, and(d) from 0 to about 40 percent by weight of at least one diol of the structure: ##STR3## where R" and y are as defined above, and to an isocyanurate foam prepared therefrom.

摘要： The present invention provides a thermoplastic polyurethane composition for injection molding and a method of manufacturing the same. The thermoplastic polyurethane composition for injection molding can be easily injection-molded since a slip property is imparted to a soft segment, and can possess excellent durability properties such as heat-aging resistance, photoaging resistance, and wear resistance, and stability properties such as airbag deployment performance and anti-fogging property, as well as excellent tactile sensation and embossing quality, when a chain extender and a multifunctional polydimethylsiloxane-based compound are mixed with an isocyanate- and ether-containing polyester polyol, and can be useful in simplifying processes, reducing manufacturing costs, and simplifying facilities due to a decrease in the number of parts when molded articles are manufactured using the composition.
