    • A payout device is provided, wherein the payout device includes a carton, an elongated rotatable member and a support assembly. The carton has a plurality of panels enclosing an interior compartment. At least one panel has an opening providing an egress for elongated flexible material stored within the interior compartment. The elongated member is rotatably supported in a substantially horizontal direction within the carton by the support assembly. The support assembly has a slot with a generally teardrop shape. The teardrop shape has a larger diameter end and a smaller diameter end such that a portion of the rotatable member is slidable therebetween. The larger diameter end is sized to allow the rotatable member to rotate, and the smaller diameter end has a size smaller than the circumference of the rotatable member. The slot is positioned on the carton with the larger diameter end being elevated and closer to the opening than the smaller diameter end.

    • The present disclosure relates to a revolving rack for the distribution and storage of chain on spools and a method of distribution and storage thereof, and more specifically, to a revolving rack with multiple spools placed on removable spool holders attached to a manual or automatic rotating mechanism that is user activated to place a selected spool at a desired operative position for distribution of chain. The revolving rack including a rotating mechanism connected to a frame with two roller chains placed on bottom sprockets and top sprockets having a built-in mechanism to hold a selected spool at a fixed height. Spools are inserted in spool holders and then adapted on the revolving rack. A drive mechanism rotates the spool holders a desired position either manually or electrically. The revolving rack also includes a sturdy frame having an operative section for receiving the rotating mechanism and a fixation section with a forklift-type interface. The spool holders include a central support placed on a spool holder equipped with a friction based stabilizer to prevent rotation and unwinding of chain.

In these versions, transmission of the drive movement to the toothed belt driving the pressure rollers is effected via a toothed belt which is tensioned symmetrically to the center of rotation of the pivot axis between a first intermediate shaft arranged on a base plate of the cable transporter and a second intermediate shaft fixed to the machine frame, the pitch axis of the cable transporter being identical to the axis of the first intermediate shaft. The cable transport device may be equipped with a guide sleeve that includes a grooved plate and a cover plate that may be replaced for adaptation to different cable diameters and for correction of the cable position.

    • Apparatus for forming a tread, such as a tank or earth moving equipment tread, into a roll for transport. First and second support members are mounted on a vehicle, such as a forklift truck. A blade having an inclined, tapered front portion is movably mounted on one of the support members and releasably engages the opposite support member to engage the tread and urge the end of the tread into a roll as the vehicle is moved over the tread. A roller is mounted between the support members rearward of the blade to urge the end of the tread into a roll. Pins mounted on the support members are movable into the center of the tread roll to support the roll above the ground for transport. Lock means are provided for the pins in either of the first or second positions.
