摘要： A glove packaging comprises a container for holding the gloves and a barrier positioned to cover at least a portion of an opening in the container. The barrier protects the gloves from airborne particles and other materials or contaminants that may contaminate the gloves prior to removal from the packaging. The barrier also includes an antimicrobial material for protecting the gloves from microorganisms, pathogens or other materials or contaminants that come in contact with the barrier to further reduce the possibility of contamination.

摘要： A packaging includes a base foil and a cover foil, the base foil and/or the cover foil being formed from a water-soluble foil web. The apparatus includes a liquid supply for a water-containing liquid, at least one moistening unit, and a pressing device. The moistening unit is formed as a spraying device for contactlessly spraying the liquid onto the foil web and is positioned at a distance (a) from the foil web. The spraying device includes an electromechanical spraying system with a row of outlet nozzles for spraying the liquid onto the foil web. The water-soluble foil web is supplied to the sealing apparatus. A water-containing liquid is sprayed onto the foil web via the spraying device. The cover foil is led onto the base foil and is pressed and sealed together therewith, in the state in which they are wetted with the liquid, via a pressing device.

摘要： A process for cleaning reusable canisters known as pigs which contain radioactive drugs and may contain residual radioactive material and other contaminants. Those pigs that are contaminated with radio-active material are removed from the cleaning process until they have decayed to the background radiation level, cleaned and disinfected. Within a very clean drug preparation area a radioactive drug is inserted into the pig and the pig is placed in a protective outer container. At a treatment site the outer container and pig are delivered to a clean treatment area where the pig is removed from the outer container and the drug is removed from the pig and utilized.

摘要： A process for cleaning canisters known as pigs in which radioactive drugs are shipped to health care providers, then returned to a pharmacy; and may contain residual radioactive material, blood, microorganisms and other contaminants. Those pigs that are contaminated with radioactive material are removed from the cleaning process until they have decayed to the background radiation level. The upper and lower portions of each blood contaminated pig are cleaned and disinfected. Within a very clean drug preparation area such as a clean room with filtered air or a laminar flow hood, a radioactive drug is inserted into the pig and a mating cap is assembled onto the pig. Within the drug preparation area, the pig is then placed in a protective outer container. The container is then placed in a transportation receptacle for delivery to a treatment site where the pig with its protective outer container is removed from the transportation receptacle, and the outer container and pig are delivered to a clean treatment site such as an operating room, a surgical suite, or an interventional procedure suite where the pig is removed form the outer container and the drug is removed from the pig and utilized.
