    • The machine provides for metering liquid pharmaceutical products into bottom shells, and has: a bottom part rotating about a respective vertical axis; a number of first vertical through holes formed in the bottom part; a piston movable reciprocatingly along a respective first hole; a bottom-shell belt meshing with a portion of the bottom part; a rotary top part defined by a vessel containing the pharmaceutical product; a rotary central part coaxial and angularly integral with the bottom part and the top part; a second hole, for each first hole, formed radially along the central part; and a valve housed in each of the second holes. Two separate channels are formed in the valve; and the valve rotates between a first angular position in which a first channel hydraulically connects the inside of the vessel to a metering chamber defined along the first hole, and a second angular position in which a second channel hydraulically connects the chamber to the inside of the bottom shell.

    • An apportioning unit for the filling of food cans with a viscous, pasty or lumpy material, having at least one cylinder unit which is moved past a sealing plate, a lower part which is developed with a first passage hole for the filling material and is provided with an annular key arranged concentrically to the first passage hole, and an upper part which bears the sealing plate and is developed with a second passage hole for the filling material. The upper part has an annular groove which receives the annular key and is arranged concentrically to the second passage hole. The depth of the annular groove is greater than the height of the annular key and the annular groove receives an elastic annular tube.

    • A container filling machine including a revolving assembly having a plurality of dispensing devices for metering a flowable product from a common tank to containers movable with the assembly. Each dispensing device includes a pump and a valve for alternately connecting the pump to the tank into an associated container; the valve including a valve stem being releasably coupled for vertical reciprocating movements with a cyclicly movable carrier block. Uncoupling of the valve stem from the carrier block is effected by a no container, no fill device whereby to permit the valve stem to remain in a closed, nondispensing position for one operational cycle of the filling machine.
