摘要： An overhead railway and trolley for transporting miners out of a mine. The railway is formed by connected rails that are mounted to a roof of a mine. The trolley is mounted to a bottom flange of the rails and includes wheel assemblies having at least two wheels mounted side-by-side, and each is configured to engage and roll along a top surface of the bottom flange. The trolley has a clicker that is configured to engage protrusions extending away from the bottom flange. The clicker permits the trolley to travel out of the mine but prevents it from traveling into the mine. The trolley also includes a pair of handles that are configured to be gripped by a miner standing on a floor of the mine as he travels from the beginning of the railway to the ending (i.e., the egress direction).

摘要： A system is provided that uses small carrier vehicles that operate along electrified guideways and use standardized connections to automatically carry load-carriers to desired destinations. The load-carriers may be passenger cabins, freight loads or automobile platforms and in each case are loaded and unloaded at separate loading and loading regions. Loading regions are preceded by queue portions of branch paths and may include a group of regions which may be a series of cabin loading regions along a branch path or may be automobile loading regions in side-by-side lanes. Passenger station arrangements are provided for rapid and efficient movement of passengers and for transfer operations when desired. Platform constructions and loading arrangements are provided for rapid loading and unloading and safe transport of automobiles.

摘要： My conveyor comprises an associated track-bound car including a drive motor supplied with drive current by current-carrying rails, a container, and a cover for the conveyor, as well as a track on which the conveyor runs by a plurality of stations. In order to prevent unauthorized opening of the cover a latch of a locking mechanism mounted in the track-bound car is restrained in a locked configuration. The latch can be unlocked by an electromagnetic unlocking mechanism mounted in the track-bound car. A very simple control of the unlocking mechanism can be provided, when, at a position or station in the conveyor where it is to be unlocked, an unlocking signal generator is present, which is automatically connectable with the track-bound car, in order to supply the unlocking mechanism with a required unlocking current.

摘要： A conveyor system has a plurality of cars displaceable along a track and each having a side provided with a plurality of parallel guides each in turn receiving a respective code marker slidable along the respective guide and arrestable therein at any of a plurality of predetermined index positions. The pattern defined by the markers in the index position determines the path of travel of the respective car on the track. A dispatcher is provided comprising a support adjacent the track and a plurality of rows of encoders on the support. The encoders each comprise a remotely operable abutment pin projectable from the support into the respective guide such that displacement of a car past a support having one such abutment pin on each such row projecting from the support displaces the respective markers along the respective guides. Apparatus is provided for displacing the abutment pins and the side of the car away from each other when the desired address code has been set on the side of the car by displacement of the markers with the abutment.
