The at least one injection unit injects a molding compound into the respective injection molding cavity and the at least one electronic control controls the placement unit and the injection unit.

摘要： An apparatus is disclosed for forming annular doses of synthetic plasticised material supplied from an extruder, in which the doses are applied to a surface of a capsule and the seals of the capsules are then compression-formed. The apparatus includes one tubular wall that has a longitudinal axis and is axially movable for closing an annular outlet from which the synthetic plasticised material exits with a component that is normal to the longitudinal axis. The tubular wall has a cutting edge that shears the plasticised material during the closing movement in order to separate the annular dose, formed outside the outlet, from the material that remains inside the outlet.

The channel may be configured to receive and position a wax stick for melting by a melting component. The device may further include a positioning and/or adjustment component that raises and lowers a mold plate with respect to a front surface of the melting component. In some embodiments, the melting component includes a nozzle having a nozzle tip configured to transfer melted portions of the wax stick from the nozzle of the melting component to a mold on a mold plate. The mold component may also include a chilling mechanism for cooling a completed, molded crayon body.

摘要： In a process for the production of optical lenses, in particular contact lenses, a lens material is introduced between two mould halves. The mould halves each have a moulding surface and enclose a cavity in the closed state of the mould. After the lens material has been introduced the two moulding surfaces are moved towards each other and the lens material is enclosed in the cavity. If necessary, the lens material enclosed in the cavity is then polymerised. The first moulding surface is provided on the one mould half and the other mould half includes a mould part that is movable inside it with a close fit in the manner of a piston and on which the second moulding surface is provided, so that by moving that mould part towards the first moulding surface the cavity is closed. For this purpose, the two mould halves are first assembled, then the movable mould part which has the second moulding surface is moved in the direction towards the first moulding surface. With the mould halves assembled, the lens material is introduced between the two moulding surfaces before the cavity is closed.

摘要： A method and apparatus for compression molding plastic articles including closures which includes providing coacting sets of tools including a first set for moving a core and core sleeve into engagement with a cavity mold on a second set of tooling. An actuator is provided between the first set of tooling and a fixed upper cam. The second set of tooling includes an associated actuator supporting the cavity mold and associated with a lower fixed cam. A nitrogen cylinder in the second set of tooling provides for control of the compression molding force. In a preferred form, a plurality of sets of tooling are provided in circumferentially spaced relation on a rotating turret supported by a central column. A common manifold supplies the pressure at accurately controlled pressure to each of the nitrogen cylinders. A control system is provided for monitoring and changing the pressure.
