摘要： In one example, a method includes positioning a tool in a mold, forming a parison of melted plastic, closing the mold around the parison and tool such that part of the tool is positioned between a portion of the mold and the parison, creating a blow molded structure by inflating the parison so that the melted plastic comes into contact with an interior portion of the mold and into contact with the tool, and after the mold is closed, operating the tool to form an integral compression molded element within the mold, and a parting line formed by the mold in the blow molded structure forms no part of the integral compression molded element.

摘要： Described herein are methods and systems for forming composite stringer assemblies or, more specifically, for shaping composite charges while forming these stringer assemblies. A system comprises a bladder, having a bladder core, and a bladder skin. The bladder core is formed from foam. The bladder skin is formed from an elastic material and encloses the bladder core. When a composite stringer assembly is formed, the bladder is positioned over a charge base. The charge base later becomes a stringer base, such as a fuselage section or a wing skin. A charge hat is then positioned over the bladder and is conformed to the bladder. A combination of the bladder skin and the bladder core provides support during this forming operation and later while the stringer assembly is cured. In some examples, the bladder core is collapsible for the removal of the bladder from the cavity of the stringer assembly.

摘要： In a fiber reinforced composite member molding apparatus comprising a lower mold having a cavity, an upper mold having a core which, in a mold clamping state, engages with the cavity in the lower mold and thereby clamps layered prepreg, and heat sources for heating the layered prepreg through the lower mold and the upper mold, and adapted to mold a fiber reinforced composite member from the layered prepreg by applying pressure while heating resin in the layered prepreg between the lower mold and the upper mold by the heat sources, the lower mold is equipped with a cavity heat-escape prevention portion and the upper mold is equipped with a core heat-escape prevention portion. During heating for molding, escape of heat from the periphery of the cavity of the upper mold and the periphery of the core of the lower mold can be prevented, which allows a fiber reinforced composite member to be molded with almost no defects such as wrinkles.

摘要： A tool organizer and method of making the same is provided which allows a user to quickly and easily store tools and other items of various sizes, shapes and configurations. The customizable organizer includes a depressible core capable of maintaining an impression of an object that is pressed into it. The organizer also includes a covering material such as a fabric, flock or elastomeric coating, which protects the outer surface of the core, and also provides an aesthetically pleasing appearance. A tacky adhesive is applied on an upper surface of the core so that when a tool or other item is pressed into the covering material that overlay the core, the tacky adhesive maintains the covering material in close conformity to the customized impression of the tool or other item created in the organizer.

摘要： A method of making a compressible elastomeric spring including at least one compressible elastomeric pad enclosed by a pair of metal plates includes the steps of forming plates with a center aperture and a plurality of prongs positioned about a peripheral edge thereof, forming each end of the pad with an axial projection and abutting groove, aligning the plurality of prongs with each respective projection and respective groove and applying axial force to one end of the spring to frictionally interlock the plurality of prongs with such projection and groove. The method also provides for making a multi-tiered stack of pads separated by plates in the above described manner and pre-shortening the spring prior to installation into the conventional yoke. The above described method additionally improves axial straightness and lateral stability of the multi-tiered spring assembly.

摘要： The present invention relates to a hot pressing tool and a hot pressing apparatus having the same. According to the present invention, a hot pressing head attaching an anisotropic conductive film (ACF) on a liquid crystal display (LCD) substrate and a heater block supplying heat to the hot pressing head have the same thermal expansion coefficient, and the heater block is provided with a hot pressing tool connected to a moving block by connection units. Also, there is provided a hot pressing apparatus, including the hot pressing tool, which is provided with a support capable of attaching the LCD substrate on the ACF and a transfer instrument. Thus, according to the present invention, the operation can continue with almost no deterioration of the oblateness of the hot pressing head. Also, since the hot pressing apparatus has the structure of connecting the heater block and the hot pressing head together simply by the combination bolts with no need for adjustment bolts, it can be easily manufactured. Also, it is possible to prevent the decrease of work efficiency, and damage to the adjustment bolts caused by excessive use of the adjustment bolts.

At least one compressible elastomeric spring is positioned within the rear portion and has a rear end thereof abutting at least a portion of an inner surface of the closed end. A friction clutch mechanism is also provided in abutting engagement with each of the front end of the compressible elastomeric spring and the coupler shank. The housing member may be provided with a pair of ledge portions disposed intermediate its ends and attachment members disposed on the open end for attaching the housing member directly to the coupler shank.
