摘要： A method and apparatus for thermolysing organic material. The method comprises steps of: A) feeding the material in a single-screw extruder (100), the extruder comprising —a cylindrical rotor member (1) having diameter (D) and length (L) and comprising a feeding zone (14), —the rotor member (1) arranged in a barrel (2), —the cylindrical surface of the rotor member (1) carrying cavity/cavities and/or projection(s) (5) arranged in helically extending rows, —the helically extending row(s) of the rotor member (1) having a pitch (P) and depth (d) in the feeding zone (14) of the rotor member, wherein —the relation of the depth (d) to the diameter (D) of the rotor member, i.e. d:D, is not more than 1:20, and —the relation of the pitch (P) of the rotor member to the diameter (D) of the rotor member, i.e. P:D, is not more than 1:4, B) heating the material in the single-screw extruder (100) to a flowable state, and C) thermolysing the material.

摘要： A mixer assembly for mixing fluid material in the bore of a barrel wherein the mixer assembly includes structure for mixing and pumping toward its outlet end the material fed thereto comprising a stator assembly fixed in the barrel having outer cylindrical surface portions conforming substantially to the surface of the bore and having a stator bore provided with a groove-interrupted inner surface, and a driven rotor member having a groove-interrupted outer surface confronting the inner stator surface. The inner stator surface and outer rotor surface each have continuous helical grooves cut therein along a helical path which changes in depth with length from a small minimum depth to a larger maximum depth but never disappearing and having a plurality of axially spaced circumferential grooves at planes perpendicular to the bore center axis subdividing such surfaces into axially spaced serially arranged mixer sections with portions of the helical grooves extending between the circumferential grooves defining each section.

摘要： A device for feeding granulate and filler material to an extruder screw of an extruder, includes a cyclone with an inlet opening for introducing a delivery flow of pneumatically delivered filler material and an outlet opening for discharging the filler material which has been separated from the delivery flow, a feed funnel for the fresh granulate and a mixing section, to which the separated filler material and the fresh granulate are fed from the feed funnel. The cyclone is disposed at least partially in the feed funnel and coaxial with the latter, so that the outlet opening of the cyclone extends into a feed funnel outlet region which surrounds the outlet opening in an annular manner, wherein a stuffing screw passes axially through the outlet opening of the cyclone and protrudes at least partially into the mixing section which axially adjoins the outlet opening.

摘要： An extrusion apparatus having a barrel and a rotatable threaded screw coaxially positioned therein is disclosed. The apparatus includes an upstream inlet section having an opening therein for receiving material to be processed by the apparatus, a compression section downstream of the inlet section, and a mixing or plasticizing section downstream of the compression section. The interior surface of the barrel is provided with an undercut therein which intercommunicates the feed opening with the compression section and has a portion thereof which extends downstream in the compression section about the interior surface of the barrel with a continuously decreasing cross-sectional area. The undercut may be formed in a cylindrical insert carried within the barrel and, in an alternate embodiment, a second undercut cylindrical insert positioned about the first insert and rotatable relative thereto may be employed to vary the cross-sectional area of the undercut.
