    • A shank removal tool for removing a shank from a carburetor includes a sleeve having a substantially closed back end, a substantially open front end, and a perimeter wall defining an interior. The back end has a hole. A threading member has a front end portion being positioned in the sleeve and a back end portion extending from the interior of the sleeve through the hole. Tapping threads are formed on the threading member. An engaging structure is mounted on the back end portion of the threading member. The black end portion is rotatable in the hole with respect to the sleeve for permitting rotational movement of the threading member with respect to the sleeve by the engaging structure. Also, the back end portion of the threading member is axially slidable through the hole of the sleeve for permitting axial movement of the threading member with respect to the sleeve.

    • A device for threading a nut blank includes an elongated guide member. Formed through the guide member is a bore. A recess is formed in the bottom end of the elongated guide member and is sized to receive a nut blank therein. A guide member holder, which includes a vertical wall and a pair of opposing horizontal walls, maintains the nut blank in the recess in the elongated member. A tap with a top end and a bottom end is adapted to be threaded through the guide member holder, through the guide member and into the nut blank. Removably secured to the top end of the tap is a tap handle for facilitating the threading of the tap into the nut blank.

    • A die holder comprises a die housing and a guide bar. The guide bar is designed to be retained within a Jacob's chuck retained within a lathe tailstock, and the die housing is slidably movable along the guide bar. A button die is retained within the die housing and with the guide bar aligned with the bar stock workpiece held by the lathe headstock, the die housing may be brought into engagement with the workpiece so that the button die engages the same. A user may then grasp the die holder while the headstock and workpiece are rotating so as to effect a cutting of threads. A reverse rotation of the headstock will result in a disengagement of the die holder.
