摘要： A drilling tool, in particular a reamer, for drilling out a workpiece core bore to a nominal diameter by means of a main blade formed on a drill body is disclosed. The main blade has a radially external cutting edge which extends along a drill-body longitudinal axis as far as a blade corner arranged at the drill tip, wherein during the drilling-out operation, the drilling tool is drivable into the workpiece core bore with a rotary movement and a feed movement. The drilling tool has at least one groove blade which is arranged so as to precede the blade corner of the main blade in the direction of rotation of the tool. During the drilling-out operation, the groove blade produces a groove in the inner wall of the core bore drilling, the blade corner of the main blade being guided in the groove with an at least reduced cutting load.

Cutting surfaces (122) at different axial and radial positions are arranged at different angles to the axis (112), and at least one cutting surface (122) on at least one insert is at an angle of about 45 degrees relative to the axis (112). Cutting surfaces (122) can be located on one insert-type or different insert-types and can have different combinations of cutting surfaces (122). When arranged circumferentially on the insert housing (106), a N-effective material removal tool (100) is formed. Methods of machining using the N-effective material removal tool (100) is also disclosed.

摘要： A tubing connector for synthetic or composite tubing includes an integral crimp ring. The crimp ring permitting the tubing connector to be rotated in the tubing after the crimp ring is crimped. The integral crimp ring simplifies and facilitates installation of the tubing connector and ensures accurate crimping for more consistent results and fewer leaky connections. A reaming tool enlarges and bevels the open end of the tubing to facilitate the insertion of the tubing connector into the tubing. The reaming tool has a guide screw so that the open end of the tubing is automatically drawn towards cutters on the tool when the guide screw is rotated in the tubing. The advantage is a perfect bevel and an accurate expansion with very little effort.
