    • The present application discloses a quick-action coupling (100) for a rotary surgical tool having a rotary shaft (20), in the distal end surface of which there is formed a tool receptacle (24) which is adapted to receive a rotary surgical tool for conjoint rotation. The rotary shaft (20) has, in the region of its distal end (21), at least one radial protrusion (22) and at least one radial aperture, wherein a locking body is arranged in the at least one aperture, said locking body being movable in the radial direction with respect to the rotary shaft (20). A sleeve (10), the proximal end of which is pushable over the distal end (21) of the rotary shaft (20), is additionally provided in the quick-action coupling. The inner surface of the sleeve (10) contains a region in which the inside diameter of the distal section (102) is enlarged compared with the inside diameter of the proximal section (101), and the sleeve (10) has at least one slot (11, 11′, 12, 12′, 13, 13′, 13″, 14, 15, 16, 17) which has a first slot section (11, 11′) and at least one further slot section (12, 12′, 13, 13′, 13″, 14, 15, 16, 17), wherein the first slot section (11, 11′) extends from the proximal end of the sleeve (10) and the further slot section (12, 12′, 13, 13′, 13″, 14, 15, 16, 17) is connected to the first slot section (11, 11′). An elastic element (30) urges the sleeve (10) in the distal direction relative to the rotary shaft (20).

    • The rotary tool (2) is in particular designed as a modular drill and extends in an axial direction (4) along an axis of rotation (6). It comprises two coupling parts, namely a carrier (10) and a cutting head (12) that is attached to the carrier (10) so as to be exchangeable. A pin receiving means (20) is provided on the carrier (10), into which pin receiving means a coupling pin (40) of the cutting head (12) is introduced in a clamping manner and so as to be reversibly exchangeable. The pin receiving means (20) and the coupling pin (40) have torque sections (30a,b) and clamping sections (32a,b) that correspond to one another. In order to permit simple production, these clamping and torque sections are oriented parallel to the axis of rotation (6). In addition, in order to prevent pulling-out in an axial direction, stop surfaces (38a,b) are provided on the pin receiving means (20) and on the coupling pin (40), said stop surfaces being effective in an axial direction (4) and corresponding to one another. These stop surfaces preferably extend horizontally and therefore perpendicular to the axis of rotation (6).

    • The invention relates to a clamping device (1) for clamping a workpiece and is comprised of a chuck (2) and a collet (3) situated in the chuck (2). A bayonet closure is provided via which the collet (3) can be secured in the chuck (2) or released from it without a tool; the collet (3) can be moved between a clamped position and a release position against a fixed part of the chuck (2). At least one locking element (23) is situated in the fixed part of the chuck (2) that secures the bayonet closure against a release in the clamped position and that releases the bayonet closure for actuation in the release position.

    • A cutting tool holder configured for mounting a cutting insert to form a cutting tool that extends along a central axis and comprises a mounting portion having a seat surface oriented generally perpendicular to the central axis.
