    • A method for spraying an oil, such as an MSDS exempt vegetable oil, onto a material handling surface to impede material from adhering to the surface. The method includes spraying the oil from an elevated position. The elevated position can be a platform comprising an elevated section configured to support a human operator, and spray equipment can be used to spray the oil, the spray equipment including a container for containing the oil, a hydraulic pump fluidly coupled to the container, and a spray wand and hose fluidly coupled to the pump. The spray equipment can be mounted on the platform and configured to enable an operator to operate the spray wand from the elevated section of the platform.

    • A paint circulating system 10 and a pressure relief module 40 utilised therein are described. The paint circulating system 10 comprises a pressurised paint supply pipeline 22, a tank return pipeline 34 and a pressure relief module 40. The pressure relief module 40 comprises: a first flow chamber 65 through which pressurised paint is provided to said supply pipeline 22; a second flow chamber 69 through which paint returns to said tank return pipeline 34; an orifice 42 interconnecting said first and second flow chambers; and a valve member 46 biased towards the orifice so as to block said orifice. The valve member 46 is moveable in response to a pressure in said first flow chamber 65 exceeding a predetermined relief pressure so as to displace said valve member 46 to open said orifice 42. This allows paint to flow from said first flow chamber 65 into said second flow chamber 69, preventing failure occurring in the paint circulating system 10.

    • The present invention relates to a method and a device for coating an alignment film. The method includes: (1) providing a substrate to which an alignment film is to be coated and placing the substrate to which an alignment film is to be coated on a working table that is reciprocally movable frontward and rearward and leftward and rightward; (2) providing a pressurization tank and depositing a predetermined amount of an alignment liquid in the pressurization tank; (3) providing a supply tank and using a liquid pump to convey the alignment liquid contained in the pressurization tank to the supply tank; (4) using a supply conduit to connect the supply tank to an alignment liquid jet nozzle and subjecting the supply conduit heating to reduce viscosity of the alignment liquid so as to allow the alignment liquid to smoothly move into the alignment liquid jet nozzle; and (5) operating the alignment liquid jet nozzle to apply the viscosity reduced alignment liquid to the substrate to which an alignment film is to be coated and, when necessary, reciprocally moving the working table during the process of application so as to have the alignment liquid uniformly coated on the substrate and complete the coating of the alignment film. The present invention improves surface uniformity of an alignment film so as to ensure product quality and enhance product yield rate.
