摘要： A method of manufacturing core-shell particles comprises: filling a buffer into a rotor, which is extended in a longitudinal direction, and is accommodated so as to be spaced apart from an inner wall side of a non-rotational hollow cylinder extended in a longitudinal direction and then discharging air to outside; rotating the rotor after terminating the filling; forming a core-shell precursor by supplying raw materials from a first storage and a second storage, which comprise a material forming a core, into an interior of the cylinder in which the rotor rotates; supplying a shell material for coating the core to the interior of the cylinder in which a core-type precursor is formed; separating a liquid comprising core-shell particles formed through the supplying into a solid and a liquid; and drying the core-shell particles obtained through the separating.

摘要： A rotary bottom ash regenerating (RBAR) system [100] comprises a cylindrical body [110] that receives ash [17] containing reactant particles [10] that are partially reacted limestone compounds having unreacted cores [13] from a furnace. Sensors [140] sense physical parameters within the cylindrical body [110]. A controller [170] receives the output of the sensors [140] and information indicating the amount of unreacted core [13] and causes a fluid actuator [135] to spray a proper amount of regeneration fluid regulator [135] from a plurality of spray nozzles [131] to different locations within the cylindrical body [110] to regulate the temperature and to cause the reactant particles [10] to have a require content of regeneration fluid. This causes the reactant particles [10] to be regenerated and reused. This results in a lower limestone costs and less overheating of ash handling systems.

摘要： Systems and methods for liquid-phase oxidation of an aromatic feedstock containing at least one oxidizable aromatic compound may incorporate an oxidation reactor, a separation apparatus in fluidic communication with the oxidation reactor, a solids treatment unit, and a product recovery unit in fluidic communication with the separation apparatus. The oxidation reactor may conduct liquid-phase oxidation of the oxidizable aromatic compound in the aromatic feedstock in the presence of a manganate salt to form a slurry containing liquid product and solid manganese dioxide. The separation apparatus may accept the slurry from the oxidation reactor and separate the liquid component from the solid component. The solids treatment unit accepts the solid component from the separation apparatus, treats the solid component with a basic liquid to oxidize the manganese dioxide in the solid component and form a regenerated manganate salt, which may be recycled back to the oxidation reactor.

摘要： A mixing device used in a fluidized catalytic cracking apparatus which mixes feed and a catalyst includes a cylindrical reaction container which supplies a catalyst in a vertical direction; a plurality of feed injection nozzles arranged along an outer circumference of the reaction container; and a catalyst flow regulator which is provided in the reaction container and regulates a flow of the catalyst in the vicinity of the feed injection nozzles. The catalyst flow regulator has no feed supply function and forms a catalyst moving bed having a hollow tubular shape which is coaxial with the reaction container in the vicinity of the feed injection nozzles. The catalyst flow regulator can effectively prevent backward flow of injected fuel. Although the mixing device has a simple structure, it has a high cracking rate and maintenance of the fluidized catalytic cracking apparatus can be performed easier.

摘要： A method of producing nanostructures by supplying particulate solid and gaseous reactants to a reactor, heating the reactor to an elevated temperature and causing relative movement of the solid reactants such as to promote the growth of nanostructures. A high temperature reactor for performing the method includes a reactor chamber having an inlet and an outlet, multiple drums for accommodating solid reactant material, a drive system that causes rotation of the drums and a heating system for heating the chamber.There is also disclosed a method of producing Silicon Nitride nanostructures by supplying solid reactants to a reactor including a carbon source and SiO2, supplying reactant gas to the reactor and maintaining a reactant gas flow rate so as to achieve a desired dwell time and heating the reactor to an elevated temperature.
