摘要： A liquid distribution unit is contactively disposed directly on that surface of the liquid-permeable sheet positioned in the innermost with respect to a wearer of an absorbent product which is associated with wearer. The liquid distribution unit is provided with a plurality of liquid distribution passageways extending downward with respect to the surface thereof. The liquid distribution unit has the function of uniformly distributing and branching the liquid fed onto the surface thereof, through the liquid distribution passageways over a wide range along the surface of the surface sheet. An absorbent product having such distribution unit is provided.

摘要： An absorbent article has a topsheet, an absorbent core, and an acquisition distribution layer between the topsheet and the core. The topsheet has an affinity for water and is therefore philic, not phobic. The acquisition distribution layer is more philic than the topsheet, thereby creating a surface energy gradient between the topsheet and the acquisition distribution layer. The topsheet is preferably a formed film but may be nonwoven. The acquisition distribution layer is preferably of a high void volume type formed film but may be a standard formed film. The affinity to water of either the topsheet or the acquisition distribution layer may be created using surfactants, corona treatment, material selection or a combination of the above.

The layers are superposed and sintered. The A-component layer comprises a hydrophilic material, the B-component layer comprises a hydrophobic material, and the A-component and B-component may include a common material comprising an easily fusible material. A top sheet lower part contacting the high absorbent resin powder in the absorbent core includes hydrophilic fibers having water retention characteristics, and moisture is temporarily retained in the top sheet lower part before reaching the absorbent core and rapidly disperses in a range facing the absorbent core of the top sheet lower part. As a result, it is possible to reliably absorb the moisture of excrement in the absorbent core and to simplify a structure of the absorbent product.

The liquid distribution unit includes a sheet, the sheet including a plurality of openings defined through material which is otherwise liquid impermeable, and a plurality of introductory tubes extending toward the absorbent member, and each one of the introductory tubes includes one first end and one second end. Each first end of the tubes is connected to the sheet so that a center of each of a plurality of openings of the sheet is coincident with a center of an opening of each first end.
