摘要： An interchangeable jewelry system forms a bracelet, necklace, earring, and/or ring jewelry piece. The interchangeable jewelry system comprises at least two jewelry strand sections, each having a central body located centrally between two end walls comprising oppositely attracting mating magnetic portions placed opposed to one another on the central body. The mating magnetic portions comprise a first portion having a depressed magnetic female rim extending to form a magnetic female cavity section and mating raised magnetic male rim extending to form a magnetic male raised section. The depressed magnetic female rim aligns with and receives the raised magnetic male rim to guide and seat the first and second magnetic portions together. Jewelry strand sections are interchangeably connected through the mating portions to form a jewelry piece. The mating magnetic portions securely connect the jewelry strand sections to prevent loss, while being operative to readily disconnect when subjected to pulling force, increasing safety and mitigating injury to the wearer.

The decorative caps have a simple functional design making them relatively inexpensive to mass produce. The decorative cap portion includes a receiver portion, a substantially planar decorative material dimensioned for receipt in the receiver portion, a cover portion for protecting the decorative material, and downwardly projecting peripheral rim dimensioned to encompass the peripheral edge of a magnetic portion of the base of each of the pieces of jewelry in the product line.

摘要： A jewelry apparatus. The jewelry apparatus may be adapted to serve as practically any type of jewelry, but is best suited for use as a pendant or a broach. A shaft portion may be removably attached to a base piece by means of a slotted locking member. The shaft piece is used to carry ornamental elements, such as decorative beads or precious or semi-precious stones. The ornamental elements may be permanently affixed to the shaft, or most desirably may be slipped onto the shaft so as to be interchangeable. Accordingly, the invention permits a user to change the ornamental elements by removing the shaft from the base piece and selectively interchanging the ornamental elements and then replacing the shaft upon the base piece. Alternatively, the entire shaft with ornamental elements thereon may be selectively replaced. In either case, a single base piece is used, allowing the user to change the overall appearance of the jewelry apparatus to customize it to occasion or apparel, two security features are provided to assure that the shaft cannot accidentally be removed from the base piece to result in the loss of the ornamental elements.
