    • A suction roller for transporting flat material blanks has a roller axis and a mantle surface. The suction roller is independent of format and therefore can be universally used for transporting flat material blanks, particularly label blanks. The suction roller has controllable suction holes or suction zones that lie at the closest possible distance from one another on its mantle surface.     • The application relates to a device for quickly and precisely aligning and fixing foil blades on the body part of a blade roll. The rotary blade roll has a rotating shaft, at least one roll body part arranged with torsional strength on the rotating shaft, at least one foil blade supported by the roll body part, and a row of holding and positioning pins in the roll body part.
