The conductive particle has a maximum dimension of less than 200 micrometers and the outer material has an outer material thickness of between 0.2 micrometers and 10 micrometers. The conductive particle is substantially devoid of silver.

In particular, the contactless plug connector and contactless plug connector system include an electromagnetic shielding element arranged to surround the transmitting circuit and the antenna element with a rim portion forming an opening at the mating end of the contactless plug connector.
