摘要： A cosmetic travel compact in the form of a box-like package having a square base section and a square cover section adapted to supply a user with a facial cosmetic, an applicator therefor and a mirror viewable by the user when applying the cosmetic, all of which are protectively enclosed within the closed compact. The base section is provided with a drawer having a well therein to receive a powder puff and a platform mounted above the drawer on which a cylindrical shell is anchored to accommodate a pressed powder supply. Mounted within the cover section is a ring having a mirror nested therein, the ring screwing onto the shell to seal the powder supply when the cover section is seated on the platform and then turned to align the square of the cover section with that of the base section.

摘要： A compact adapted to package a cosmetic in paste or cream form that includes volatile agents, the cosmetic package being hermetically sealed to prolong its shelf-life. The compact is provided with a case on whose base is anchored a cylindrical shell for storing the cosmetic. Surrounding the shell is an elastomeric sealing collar having a circular array of elastomeric legs extending from its lower edge and resting on the base of the case. Formed on the inner surface of the lid is a circular pressure ring which when the lid is swung down to close the compact then engages and applies downward pressure to the upper edge of the sealing collar to hermetically seal the cosmetic stored in the shell. This action compresses the legs which then exert an upward pressure on the collar to tighten its engagement with the ring and thereby strengthen the seal.

摘要： A make-up kit housing an assortment of different cosmetics, each of which is stored in a miniature module. The kit includes a case having a plurality of module sites, each site being defined by a set of guide pins anchored on the base of the case to abut the sides of the module seated at the site. Hinged to the case is a frame plate which swings down to engage the upper edge of the case to lock the modules therein. The plate is provided with a plurality of openings, each framing a respective module seated at a site to expose the cosmetic therein. To replace a module whose cosmetic is exhausted, the frame plate is raised and a fresh module is substituted at the site for the exhausted module.

摘要： A protective cap and mirror unit for a cosmetic pencil having a sharpened tip. The unit is molded of plastic to define a small rectangular frame whose rear face is integral with a tubular cap, the entry of which is at the lower end of the frame, a mirror being mounted on the front face of the frame. In the storage mode of the unit, the tip end of the cosmetic pencil is snugly telescoped in the cap. In an active mode, a user holding the pencil in one hand and grasping the unit with the other hand, withdraws the unit from the pencil and then defines with the cosmetic pencil her lips or eyes as she observes at close range her face in the mirror.
