A stroboscopic endoscope system includes an endoscope, an imaging device, a light source, a light transmission assembly, and a controller. The imaging device is configured for imaging an object illuminated via the endoscope. The light transmission assembly is configured to transmit light generated by the light source to the endoscope. The stroboscopic endoscopic systems and related methods employ approaches for increasing the amount of illumination light emitted by the endoscope.

摘要： An ablation assembly includes a handle, a catheter assembly and a connector locking assembly. The catheter assembly includes: a catheter shaft, a balloon and a connector at the distal and proximal ends of the catheter shaft, and a delivery tube extending between there between. The connector includes a connector body secured to the proximal end and a plug secured to the delivery tube, the plug and delivery tube movable axially and rotationally. The handle includes an open portion receiving the plug and the connector body. The connector locking assembly includes: means for simultaneously automatically connecting the plug and the connector body to the handle to place the connector in a load state prior to use, and means for automatically releasing the connector body and thereafter the plug from the handle to place the connector in an eject state to permit the connector to be removed from the handle.

摘要： A device for treating esophageal target tissue comprises a catheter, a balloon and a refrigerant delivery device. The catheter has a distal portion and a refrigerant delivery lumen. The balloon is mounted to and the refrigerant delivery device is coupled to the distal portion. The refrigerant delivery device comprises a chamber with the refrigerant delivery lumen opening into the chamber, a refrigerant delivery opening fluidly coupled to the balloon interior, and a distribution passageway fluidly coupling the chamber and the refrigerant delivery opening. A refrigerant is deliverable through the refrigerant delivery lumen, into the chamber, through the distribution passageway, through the refrigerant delivery opening and into the balloon interior so to place the balloon into an expanded, cooled state so that the balloon can press against and cool esophageal target tissue. The medical device may include means for sensing a leak in the balloon.

摘要： A standalone device, connectible to a CCTV network, includes an analog video input connector that collects input image signals corresponding to views from outside the standalone device, and digital image signal data corresponding to the collected signals are output. The device is connectible to an the internet-protocol network, and a transport control protocol packetizes the digital image signal data and controls addressing of the packetized digital image signal data. An address setting routine sets an internet-protocol address for the standalone device itself, permitting connection to the internet-protocol network. A self-initiating transmission initiating routine self-initiates a connection with the internet-protocol network in response to a triggering signal on an alarm trigger input. An E-mail message is assembled, including report information related to the triggering signal and digital image signal data, and is transmitted to an address via the internet-protocol network.

摘要： A method of transmitting digital image signal data from a standalone device includes input image signals corresponding to views from outside the standalone device. Digital image signal data, corresponding to the input image signals, are output. The standalone device is permitted to connect to an internet-protocol network by setting an internet-protocol address for the standalone device itself. On the network, the digital image signal data is packetized and addressing of the packetized digital image signal data for the internet-protocol network is controlled, with a transport control protocol. The method includes self-initiating a connection with the network in response to a triggering signal on at least one alarm trigger input of a plurality of input/output terminals. An E-mail message is assembled including report information related to the triggering signal and digital image signal data corresponding to the views from outside the standalone device, and transmitted to an E-mail address via the transport control protocol and the internet-protocol network.
