摘要： A computing system including a common substrate having both superconducting components and non-superconducting components is provided. The superconducting components may be attached towards a first end of the common substrate and the non-superconducting components may be attached towards a second end, opposite to the first end, of the common substrate. The common substrate may include circuit traces for interconnecting the superconducting components with the non-superconducting components. A heat-shield may thermally separate the first end from the second end of the common substrate such that the superconducting components are configured to operate in a temperature range between 2 Kelvin to 77 Kelvin and the non-superconducting components are configured to operate in a temperature range between 200 Kelvin to 400 Kelvin. Each of the superconducting components may be configured to provide primarily a processor functionality and each of the non-superconducting components may be configured to provide primarily a storage functionality.

摘要： Technology for stabilizing an interaction ray based on variance in head rotation is disclosed. One aspect includes monitoring orientation of a person's head, which may include monitoring rotation about an axis of the head, such as recording an Euler angle with respect to rotation about an axis of the head. The logic determines a three-dimensional (3D) ray based on the orientation of the head. The 3D ray has a motion that precisely tracks the Euler angle over time. The logic generates an interaction ray that tracks the 3D ray to some extent. The logic determines a variance of the Euler angle over time. The logic stabilizes the interaction ray based on the variance of the Euler angle over time despite some rotation about the axis of the head. The amount of stabilizing may be inversely proportional to the variance of the Euler angle.

摘要： A see-through, head mounted display and sensing devices cooperating with the display detect audible and visual behaviors of a subject in a field of view of the device. A processing device communicating with display and the sensors monitors audible and visual behaviors of the subject by receiving data from the sensors. Emotional states are computed based on the behaviors and feedback provided to the wearer indicating computed emotional states of the subject. During interactions, the device, recognizes emotional states in subjects by comparing detected sensor input against a database of human/primate gestures/expressions, posture, and speech. Feedback is provided to the wearer after interpretation of the sensor input.

摘要： Methods and systems for determining the location of an agent within an environment using a hybrid approach are provided. The hybrid approach allows a potentially large physical space to be compressed in the form of a directed graph, in which edges are paths and nodes are locations. An image comparison produces observations for each location and path, which can be used to probabilistically locate the agent in the environment and to select a portion of the 3D point cloud for comparison. The agent can then be localized within the 3D point cloud, or metric-accurate map, using the same features utilized for image matching in the probabilistic location.

摘要： The technology provides for rule based data driven validation in which a rule engine identifies which rules are applicable to target data items of a target data object by their data types including any inherited data types. Additionally, a condition for a rule or a rule exemption is implemented also as a rule which is processed by the rule engine like any other rule. In one embodiment, a validation system includes an abstract rule store of rule instance data items which link to corresponding concrete rules which may be in different data formats. A corresponding rule provides access to rule logic which implements the corresponding rule. A rule engine and the abstract rule store may be accessed over a network by an application requesting validation of a target data object. Furthermore, in some examples, the data driven rule store can be implemented using the Microsoft .NET™ framework.
