摘要： An improved telescopic linear actuator is disclosed comprising a rotational drive mechanism specially adapted and assembled within a tubular housing to reduce noise and vibration of the actuator during its operation. The rotational drive mechanism includes an electric motor adapted for low current operation, a gearbox containing a planetary gear axially connected to the motor with a stepped-up gear ratio, and a drive screw member operatively connected to the gearbox to extend longitudinally through the tubular housing with a specially configured threaded surface formed along the screw member having a reduced thread count and associated increased thread pitch to operatively engage and drive a movable piston member through the tubular housing with a substantially silent glide being exhibited.

Each torque shaft is rotated by a separate motor. A roller engages a bearing surface on the lower portion of the gear racks. Accordingly, the slide-out room is extended and retracted by rotating the torque shafts to cause the gear racks and the attached slide-out room to extend and retract. The weight of the slide-out room is supported by the rollers, thereby supporting the slide-out room off of the floor of the main living quarters as it extends and retracts. A synchronizing control operates the motors.

摘要： A system for extending and retracting a folding trailer. The trailer has a movable top extending from a base, and a plurality of extendible supports mounted on the base and connected to the top. A drive including an electric motor extends and retracts the extendible supports in unison to extend and retract the top. A controller is provided for the drive, the controller having a motor load monitor having both an ultimate load detector and a calculated load detector. In extending and retracting the top, the load of the electric motor is regularly monitored, and is first compared with an ultimate load threshold. The motor is stopped if the ultimate load threshold is met or exceeded. The monitored load is also compared with a stall load threshold, and the motor remains in operation until the stall load threshold is met or exceeded.

摘要： A leveling jack for a vehicle, such as a recreational vehicle, includes a leveling piston and cylinder, a bi-directional, reversible pump, and a reservoir within a common sealed housing that does not require exterior fluid connections. The piston is extended from the housing to contact the ground and effect leveling by operating the pump in one direction, and is retracted into the cylinder by operating the pump in the other direction. Accordingly, the leveling jack is a self-contained unit, and does not require a central hydraulic unit and the necessary hoses between the jack and the central hydraulic unit as needed in the prior art.
