摘要： A fluid delivery system for delivering a fluid from an automatic water source to animals housed in cages in high density caging systems may comprise a fluid delivery valve assembly, wherein the fluid delivery valve assembly is adapted to be coupled to the automatic water source to facilitate the provision of fluid to animals housed in the cages. The fluid delivery valve assembly may further comprise a valve body and end cap, which may be joined together, that define a fluid channel. The fluid delivery valve assembly may further comprise sealing elements, a spring element, and an interior stem disposed at least in part in the fluid channel to open and close the fluid channel.

The upper member has a fluid channel defined therethrough and forms, in an injection molding machine, a unitary member with the sealing member. The method can also include injection molding a base having a flange member and a base fluid channel defined therethrough. The base is designed to be matingly coupled to the upper member. The method can further include injection molding a stem member constructed and arranged to be disposed in part within the base fluid channel. The stem member has an actuation portion extending through a spring element. The stem member has a top portion having a lower surface.

摘要： A device for regulating exhaust air flow in a ventilation system when a rack is removed from the system. The device includes a housing forming an air conduit. A valve is mounted in the housing with the valve being moveable between an open position when the device is connected to the rack, and in one of a plurality of partially preset closed positions when the device is not connected to the rack. A valve adjustment member selects the one of a plurality of partially closed positions and is preset during factory testing. When valve is installed at facility and valve is removed from rack the adjustment is fully automatic. The technician merely disconnects the exhaust drop hose with valve attached, and valve automatically adjusts to a preset back pressure duplication position (partially closed position).

摘要： A combination food and liquid dispenser for an animal cage including a first compartment and a second compartment being in vertical relation to each other. The second compartment is constructed to receive food therein and provide an animal access to the food item disposed therein and the first compartment is constructed to receive a liquid container therein and provide an animal with access to the liquid container disposed in the first compartment. A bracket assembly is affixed to the dispenser and supports the dispenser within the cage on less than four side walls thereof. A filter cap for the animal cage includes a body portion dimensioned to fit upon and cover over the top of the cage. Disposed in the interior of the body portion is an air filter, a retainer for retaining the air filter in close proximity to a top wall of said body portion, a protective cover for protecting the integrity of the air filter and the retainer, and a lock for releasably securing the air filter, the retainer and the protective cover within the interior region of the body portion.
