    • An electromagnetic flowmeter with variable-frequency conductivity-sensing function for a liquid in a tube includes a first microprocessor, a transducer, flow-sensing device, an exciting-current generating device, a variable-frequency conductivity measuring device, and a switch. The transducer includes coils and sensing electrodes. The switch is electrically connected to the first microprocessor and the sensing electrodes. The switch is selectively connected to the flow-sensing device or the variable-frequency conductivity measuring device according to the signals sent from the first microprocessor. The microprocessor makes the exciting-current generating device to generate an exciting current when the switch is connected to the flow-sensing device. The first microprocessor makes the exciting-current generating device stop to generate exciting current and computes conductivity of liquid when the switch is electrically connected to the variable-frequency conductivity-sensing device.

    • A self-alignment filling level detecting device has a reflector and a sensor detachable from each other. The sensor has a light emitter, a light sensor, and a controller. The light sensor receives different light intensities when the reflector is assembled to the sensor and when the reflector is not assembled to the sensor. Thus, the controller determines whether the reflector has been accurately engaged and aligned with the sensor or not based on sensing results of the light sensor. Since the reflector and the sensor are detachable from each other, either the reflector or the sensor can be replaced individually if any one of them malfunctions.

    • A miniaturized microwave sampler has a first substrate and a second substrate mounted together on a mounting surface, a ground layer formed on the mounting surface, a slot-line formed on the ground layer. A first microstrip line is formed on a top surface of the first substrate and has a first end as a local pulse signal input port. A T-shaped second microstrip line is formed on a bottom surface of the second substrate and achieves an electromagnetic coupling with the first microstrip line through the slot-line. The second microstrip line has a longitudinal segment and a latitudinal segment both being perpendicularly connected together. The longitudinal segment has one end as a radio frequency signal input port. The latitudinal segment further extends to form two output ports.

    • A protecting casing for a transducer has an outer casing, an inner casing, a circuit board and a connector. The inner casing is detachably mounted in the outer casing and has a mounting hole and a cap detachably mounted on the inner casing to cover the mounting hole in a watertight manner. The circuit board is detachably mounted in the inner casing and has a surface, a circuit formed on the surface and a plug with terminals extends out of the inner casing. The connector is detachably mounted to the outer casing and is electrically connected between the circuit board and an external functional accessory component. Within such an arrangement to facilitate maintenance, assembly of the transducer, and effectively avoid intrusion of water, foreign object and the like.

    • A plumb probe assembly for a level measuring device has a plumb and a connection assembly. The plumb has an inner connecting tube. The connection assembly has two connectors and two clip brackets. The connectors are slidably mounted together while one of the connector firmly connects to the inner connecting tube of the plumb. The clip brackets are movably connected together by at least one resilient device supplying a clipping force and clip around the connectors to hold connectors firmly together. When a force greater than the clipping force, applied to the plumb, the clip brackets separate and the plumb falls into the particulates in the container. The plumb will not cause damage to a particulate discharging device and will disconnect with the connection assembly. A replacement plumb may then be attached to the connection assembly for continued operation.
