    • Disconnecting overload clutch, comprising a hub (5) which has axially directed hub recesses (4) arranged on the periphery thereof, a pressure flange (1) mounted on the hub (5) in a rotatable manner with axially directed pressure flange depressions (2), wherein in each hub recess (4), for example, two rotationally symmetrical transmission bodies (3,9) are arranged, which are pressed into the pressure flange depressions (2) by spring elements (6) via a switch element (7). According to the invention, the switch element (7) has axially projecting switch element cams (8) facing the front-end exposed surface (21) thereof, which in the engaged state transfer the force of the spring elements (6)to the transmission bodies (3,9) and thus axially engage with the hub recesses (4). When disengaging, the switch element (7) experiences an axial displacement and rotary movement with the switch element cams (8) in relation to the hub (5), so that the switch element cams (8) are transferred into a position wherein same transfer the force of the spring elements (6) only onto a support surface (20) of the hub (5) with the result that the clutch can freely come to a stop.

In order to considerably increase the torque which can be transmitted, it is provided that the flange sleeve (14) is shorter in the axial direction than the known flange sleeves, and that, in order to increase the torque component which can be transmitted in a frictionally locking manner, the flange sleeve is rounded in a chamfered manner, and contains a coated radius geometry (6e), in its transition region to the planar face of the hub (1).

    • An electromagnetically released spring-loaded brake for cooperation with a motor or similar, with the manual release of the brake being effected in a tangential direction by means of a manual release lever 9, and with actuation of the manual release lever 9 causing armature disc 3 to be urged towards coil carrier 1 via three or more transmission levers 10 mounting rolls 16 and camming surfaces 14 on armature disc 3. As a result, the width of the air gap between armature disc 3 and coil carrier 1 is reduced so that rotor 6 with its hub 4 will be free to rotate between friction linings 7 on armature disc 3 and flange plate 8. The object was to create a lockable manual release feature the actuation of which requires a low manual force on manual release lever 9, is very flat and compact in structure, has a relatively small diameter and is actuated in a tangentional direction (FIG. 1).

    • Disclosed is an electromagnetically released spring pressure brake that is to be mounted on a machine wall or similar. Said brake comprises a uniform rectangular coil support (1) with two preferably oval, adjacent coils (7, 7.1), to which two separately movable rectangular armature disks are assigned. Said armature disks apply pressure to a joint rotor encompassing two friction linings that are mounted on each side when the coils (7, 7.1) are de-energized. The rotor is axially movable on an axially toothed hub. Two respective fastening screws (9) are used for guiding each of the armature disks parallel along the central longitudinal axis (13, 13.1) thereof, on the radially largest possible diameter of the rotor. A manual lever (10) featuring manual releasing bolts is provided for each armature disk. The inventive brake is simple and inexpensive and has two separate braking circuits, allowing the friction surfaces to be better utilized as the rotor has a greater diameter while the outer dimensions of the brake remain the same. Alternatively, the outer dimensions can be reduced if the rotor is not modified. In order to do so, a uniform or monolithic square coil support is provided that comprises two adjacent coils therein and two separate, independently movable armature disks on both sides of the central brake rotor (3).
