摘要： In a locking device for a door, window or the like, having a main lock box, at least one supplementary lock box, and at least one drive rod connecting the supplementary lock boxes to the main lock box, better resistance to break-ins is attained in that the supplementary lock box has a latch bolt that can be retracted freely into the latching position, wherein the latch bolt is displaceable by a spring and/or by a gear past the normal latching position into its locking position.

摘要： Adhesive compositions are rendered stable against degradation caused by ultraviolet light through the incorporation of a highly soluble, high extinction, photostable hydroxyphenyl-s-triazine UV absorber. An example of such compounds is 2,4-bis(2,4-dimethylphenyl)-6-[2-hydroxy-4-(3-nonyloxy*-2-hydroxypropyloxy)-5-&agr;-cumylphenyl]-s-triazine (* denotes a mixture of octyloxy, nonyloxy and decyloxy groups). Such compounds exhibit high extinction, excellent photostability and are highly soluble in adhesive formulations. The laminated articles derived from these compositions include, for example, solar control films, films and glazings, UV absorbing glasses and glass coatings, windscreens, retroreflective sheetings and signs, solar reflectors, optical films and the like.

摘要： A lock for a door has a housing with an opening, a latch bolt and a further latch bolt both mounted to the housing for parallel displacement relative to the housing. A latch follower formed as part of a latch is connected to the latch bolt as is a changer, with the parallel displacement occurring due to the action of one of the latch follower via the latch and the changer via a key. A lock cylinder is situated in the housing opening. Two drive rods and associated control plates are provided along and a changer lever hinged to one of the control plates and connected to the lock cylinder. The lock cylinder can drive the changer via the changer lever and its hinged control plate. One side of the lock has, therefore, two drive rods.

摘要： The invention relates to a process for printing text on a sheet of a booklet-like article in a text-printing station, in the case of which the booklet-like article is arranged in a swung-open state in a cassette (10) and fed to the text-printing station. Then the position in the text-printing station of the border of the sheet which is to have text printed on it is detected, as is the position of a pattern provided on the sheet which is to have text printed on it. Thereafter, the sheet has text printed on it such that some of the text is aligned with respect to the pattern and other parts are aligned with respect to the sheet border. The process according to the invention can be carried out particularly advantageously using a cassette which has a base plate (11), with a bearing region (15) and a first bearing surface (17), and also has a frame (12), which is arranged on the base plate such that it can be released at least in part opposite the bearing region (15). The first bearing surface (17) is assigned a second bearing surface, which is offset parallel to the first bearing surface (17) in the direction of the normals of the two bearing surfaces.

摘要： Photo-curable coating formulations which comprise a durable and/or red-shifted reactable hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole ultraviolet light absorber (UVA) are effectively photocured employing a combination of α-hydroxy ketone and bisacylphosphine oxide photoinitiators. The reactable UVA's are reacted into the coating upon curing. The combination of the photoinitiators bis(2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl)phenylphosphine oxide and 1-hydroxycyclohexylphenylketone is especially effective for this purpose.
