摘要： The specification discloses a control circuit for electromagnetic devices and a method of operating such devices in which a higher voltage is supplied for actuating the devices to pull the armatures thereof to attracted position, while a lower voltage is supplied to hold the armatures in attracted position. In the circuit the coils of the electromagnetic devices are connected across a line in series with a voltage-dropping resistor and a bypass around the voltage-dropping resistor is closed automatically when a switch pertaining to a coil to be energized is moved to coil-engaging position.

摘要： In a hydrodynamic machine, to effect a rapid, yet impact-free braking of a rotating shaft, there is provided a braking system which includes a coupling means to connect the brake rotor of the hydrodynamic machine to said shaft. The coupling means includes a stepped brake piston having a small work face and a hydraulically separate large work face. In the first phase of the braking operation, the piston is rapidly actuated by exerting on said small work face a pressure generated by a continuously operated auxiliary pump. In the second phase of the braking operation, the said large work face of the stepped piston is exposed to a pressure which corresponds to the momentary outlet pressure of the hydrodynamic machine and which may be set by an arbitrarily controllable device forming part of said braking system.

摘要： In an electromagnet, to generate a force which is independent from the armature position, an on-off control system for the excitation current is provided which operates as a function of the magnetic field intensity. The control system causes the excitation current to oscillate between two values and thus have a constant mean value according to a preset desired value. The timelag of the inductivity or its change between two close values is utilized for measuring the magnetic flux density and for a comparison with a desired value.

摘要： A magnetic valve in which the valve housing with the casing for the valve spool is made of a magnetically uniform piece while the armature of the magnet and the valve spool are likewise made of a magnetically uniform piece, the magnetic flux being passed from the iron casing into the armature of the magnet through the guiding surfaces between the valve housing and the valve spool. By sufficiently dimensioning the diameter of the valve spool and by sufficiently dimensioning the length of the valve spool and thereby the contacting surface thereof, it is possible to maintain the magnetic flux small so that a magnetic jamming of the valve spool with the harmful consequences thereof cannot occur.
