    • Audio system and related method integrated with ultrasound communication functionality are provided. A communication transmitting device of proposed invention modulates a communication signal of communication functionality to a high-frequency sound and transmits the high-frequency sound by an ordinary audio transmitter. A communication receiving device of proposed invention receives the high-frequency sound with an ordinary audio receiver and demodulates it to retrieve the communication signal, and then the communication device can use the communication signal. The proposed audio sound transmitter/receiver can be implemented using low-cost audio speaker/microphone, such that a cost for implementing communication functionality can be reduced.

    • The present invention relates to a field sequential liquid crystal display (LCD) and driving method thereof. The method includes: turning the backlight off; step (a) of setting voltage of the segment signal lines to a first voltage and setting voltage of common signal lines to a second voltage level for a preset period so that the voltage of the pixels in LCD is set as fully white voltage; sequentially setting voltage of the common signal lines to a display common voltage in corresponding driving period, wherein when the voltage of the common signal lines is set to the display common voltage, a corresponding display data is outputted to the corresponding segment signal line; after a predetermined period from the step (a), providing a specific color backlight corresponding the display data.

    • The invention relates to an electronic candle and an electronic night lamp. The electronic candle includes a light-emitting diode (LED), a capacitor and a control circuit. The capacitor has a first terminal coupled to a first terminal of the LED, and a second terminal coupled to a common voltage. The control circuit has a first control terminal coupled to the first terminal of the LED, and a second control terminal coupled to a second terminal of the LED. In a detecting period, the control circuit provides a preset voltage across the first and second terminals of the LED so that the LED is reversely biased for a preset time. Then, the first control terminal of the control circuit is set to high impedance. Next, the control circuit detects a variation of a voltage of the first terminal of the capacitor with respect to time to determine whether to light up the LED.
