摘要： An HDD, to which servo data is written, is fixed on a base. As an upper base moves, a both-end supporting mechanism provided on the upper base approaches a rotation shaft which supports a disk. When the both-end supporting mechanism is brought into full contact with the tip portion of the free end of the rotation shaft, a process of writing servo data is carried out on the disk. While writing the servo data, the rotation shaft is maintained in the both-end supported state, and therefore a non-repeatable vibration of the rotation shaft caused by a rotation of a spindle motor is suppressed. After the servo data writing process, the both-end supporting mechanism is withdrawn from the rotation shaft as the upper base moves.

摘要： A loading/ejecting device for loading and ejecting a floppy disk into and from a magnetic disk drive apparatus has a holder for containing the disk therein. The holder is supported by a pair of guide plates to be movable directly between a first position where the disk can be inserted into or ejected from the holder and a second position where the disk can be reproduced or recorded. A loading/ejecting member is supported by the guide plates to be movable between an initial position and a forward position. The member is urged by tension springs toward the forward position and is latch by a latching member in the initial position. When the disk is inserted into the holder, a urging member supported on the holder is moved by the disk to push the latching member, thereby disengaging the latching member from the loading/ejecting member. As a result, the loading/ejecting member is moved from the initial position to the forward position, thereby moving the holder from the first position to the second position. A hold plate is mounted on the holder and locks the disk in a predetermined position in the holder when the disk is inserted into the holder. The loading/ejecting member has an urging arm. When the loading/ejecting member is moved from the forward position to the initial position, the holder is moved from the second position to the first position by the member and the hold plate is urged by the urging arm to release the locked state of the disk.

摘要： An IPv6 mobile packet communication network in which mobile VPN service can be provided without having to use a mobile tunnel. A control signal for enabling packet data transmission and reception is sent from a mobile terminal to a gateway node. Using destination-of-connection information contained in the control signal, the gateway node checks whether mobile VPN service is requested or not. Upon detection of a mobile VPN service request, the gateway node returns IP address information of the gateway node to the mobile terminal via a subscriber node. The mobile terminal then assembles an IPv6 header (210) and an IPv6 routing header (220) so that packet data will be unexceptionally transferred through the gateway node.

After a call is originated from an ATM communication network 101 to an STM communication network 102, an ATMIF 20 that has received a connection request signal (control signal) converts the control signal into a format of an ATM cell 1000, adds a header destined to one of SIG 50-1 to n for processing control signals, and then output the same. An ATMSW 10 performs self-routing based on header information. The selected one of the SIG 50-1 to n performs conversion for the ATM cell 1000 by a specified protocol, makes an ATM cell 1100 having a header destined to one of CLP 630-1 to k for processing control signals, and then output the same. Upon having received the ATM cell 1100, the CLP 630 links up with other processors to perform call connection control, functions having been dispersed among the other processors.
