    • A filler material packing system for packing a granular or fragmental filler material in a bag-shaped hollow surface material includes a suction-type packing container, and means for delivering the filler material. The packing container has an inner space. At least a part of the surface material is air-permeable, and the surface material is positioned in the inner space. The packing container has a suction port and an entry port that are connected to the inner space. The filler material is delivered to the inside of the surface material positioned in the inner space of the packing container by the filler material delivering means. The filler material delivering means includes a cylindrical stirring container having a lid, a sidewall and a bottom wall. The stirring container has a stirring vane positioned on the bottom wall. Air vent holes and an outlet port are provided in an upper part of the sidewall. The filler material delivering means further includes means for connecting between the outlet port of the stirring container and the entry port of the packing container and then connecting between the inside of the surface material positioned in the inner space of the packing container and the entry port thereof. The filler material delivering means further includes a pumping source connected to the inner space of the packing container through a suction port of the packing container.

    • A seat having various hardnesses provided with a surface material. The seat is air-permeable, has a tactile feeling of the seat surface and has a hardness capable of supporting the weight of a person who sits thereon. The seat (1) is covered with an air-permeable surface material (2) and has a foamed body having a shape generally corresponding to an external shape of the seat. The foamed body includes a first foamed body (10) as a base of the foamed body and a second foamed body (6) connected integrally with the first foamed body. The first foamed body (10) has ascending parts (12, 13) which are formed on parts of a surface thereof. In the method for manufacturing the seat, the mixture (15) is introduced and layered on the first foamed body (10) and the surface material (2) is placed thereon. The mixture is compressed between the first foamed body (10) and a pressure applying die having a shape corresponding to a shape of an upper part of the seat when it has completed a gas reaction thereof and is still in a visco-elastic flowing condition. The pressure applying die has suction holes, and the mixture (15) is simultaneously sucked through the suction holes. Thereby, the second foamed body (6) is connected in one with the surface material and the first foamed body.

    • A seat, which is covered with a surface material and has a multilayer with different hardness, the air permeability, a good feeling on the surface and such a hardness that a weight of a person can be supported, is provided. The seat (1) is covered with a surface material (2) having the air permeability and comprises a foamed body having an outline generally corresponding to an outline of the seat. The foamed body comprises a first foamed body (10) as a base of the foamed body and a second foamed body (6). The second foamed body (6) is resulted in one with a back surface of the surface material and is also resulted in one with a front surface of the first foamed body by: injecting and laminating a liquid foamable mixture on the front surface of the first foamed body and then by pressing and compressing the laminated liquid foamable mixture in the first foamed body and a pressure applying mold having a molding surface and positioned on the surface material on the laminated liquid foamable mixture and simultaneously sucking through a suction slot provided in the pressure applying mold, when the laminated liquid foamable mixture has completed a gas reaction thereof but is still in a visco-elastic flowing condition.

    • A method for manufacturing a multihardness foamed article, including the steps of, placing a mold for foaming such that its bottom surface is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, pouring a first liquid formulation which will form a portion having a certain hardness designed to constitute the surface area of the foamed article at or adjacent to a higher point of the inclined bottom surface, and allowing the formulation to flow and spread over the entire bottom surface as a continuous thin layer while sticking at its undersurface to the bottom surface, immediately after pouring of the first formulation, pouring a second liquid formulation which will form another portion of another hardness designed to constitute a portion other than the surface area of the foamed article at or adjacent to the higher point, and allowing the second formulation to flow and spread over the flowing and spreading first formulation as a second continuous thin layer which will not commingle with the first layer, and allowing these two layers to foam and cure respectively in a contiguous but independent state to form the multihardness foamed article which has a clear and distinct common boundary defined between portions of different hardness and is combined unitarily along the common boundary. A third liquid formulation which will form a portion of yet another hardness designed to constitute yet another portion of the foamed article may be poured at or adjacent to the higher point or onto side recesses of the mold, and allowing the third formulation to flow and spread over the flowing and spreading second formulation as a third continuous thin layer which will not commingle with the second layer.
