    • A retainer is incorporated into a fitting portion of a housing so as to be movable between a preset position and a set position in a direction crossing terminal receiving holes. Further, a seal member is attached to an outer periphery of the fitting portion. The seal member is brought into close contact with an inner periphery of a fitting hole of a mating connector for sealing when the fitting portion is fitted to the fitting hole. The retainer has projections which retreat to the sides of the terminal receiving holes to allow insertion of terminals into the terminal receiving holes when the retainer is at the preset position and which project into the terminal receiving holes to engage with the terminals so as to hold the terminals in a come-off preventing state when the retainer is at the set position. The retainer and the seal member are provided at positions which overlap each other in a direction of fitting to the mating connector.

    • A printing plate processing apparatus provides a step in which a printing plate which has undergone image exposure is processed by being immersed in a developing solution, and the printing plate is delivered while the developing solution is being squeezed out from the printing plate by a conveying roller pair which is partially immersed in the developing solution. A stoppage time of the apparatus is measured, and the conveying roller pair is driven to rotate for an amount of time set in accordance with a measured result of the stoppage time when operation of the apparatus is started, thereby allowing the conveying rollers to be cleaned. A concentration of carbon dioxide in an environment in which the apparatus is installed is detected, and based on the detected result and the measured result of the apparatus stoppage time, the driving time of the conveying roller pair is set.

    • A processing head for an electrophotographic apparatus has a developing section for developing an electrophotographic film with a liquid developer, and a drying section disposed adjacent to and on the downstream side of the developing section in the direction in which the film is advanced, to dry the film wetted with the developer by passing a gas in a direction that intersects the film advancing direction. The drying section is provided with a pair of frame members extending in a direction that intersects the film advancing direction so as to define both ends of the drying section in the film advancing direction. In addition, a pair of recesses are formed along opposing walls of the frame members, respectively. Accordingly, the flow rate of the gas passed through the recesses is higher than that of the gas passed along the other portion between the frame members.
