    • A developing device for a liquid electrophotographic image forming apparatus is provided. The developing device may have a developing roller, which supplies ink to a photosensitive body on which an electrostatic latent image is formed and develops the electrostatic latent image. The apparatus may include an ink reservoir in which ink supplied to the developing roller is accommodated, and an ink removal unit, which removes ink remaining in the ink reservoir after a development operation is performed. The ink removal unit may comprise an ink removal member rotatably installed in the ink reservoir that exhausts ink through a through hole formed under the ink reservoir. A driving member rotates the ink removal member. An ink cartridge stores ink exhausted through the through hole.

    • A developing device driver according to the present invention includes a developing roller gear connected to each developing roller to develop an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoconductive medium with developer having predetermined color, a driving source for generating power for rotating the developing roller gear, a driving gear driven by the power transmitted from the driving source, and a power switching gear provided with power from the driving gear and rotated along a circumference of the driving gear, and a rotation unit. The rotation unit rotates the power switching gear to place the power switching gear into contact with and separate the gear from the developing roller gears to selectively drive one developing roller.

    • A rotary force controlling apparatus and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided. The rotary force controlling apparatus includes a clutch device having a shaft, and a rotary body mounted at one end of the shaft. A housing receives and rotates together with the shaft. A power transferring member is rotatably mounted in the housing and selectively rotates the housing by a clutch inserted between the housing and the power transferring member. A positioning unit protrudes from the periphery of the housing and positions a stop location of the rotary body. A solenoid unit is spaced apart from the clutch device and is selectively turned on and off. The positioning unit includes a first positioning unit that positions an initial location of the rotary body when the solenoid unit is turned on; and a plurality of second positioning units that are separated from the first positioning unit and stop the rotary body at a predetermined location when the solenoid unit is turned off. Since the solenoid unit is turned off when the rotary body is stopped, the solenoid unit is prevented from being overheated.
