    • A stereoscopic image display apparatus for displaying a three dimensional image on a screen of a display panel comprises a three dimensional video signal processor for converting an analog three dimensional video signal to a digital three dimensional video signal, and a micropolarizer attached to the display panel. The micropolarizer is composed of a plurality of first polarizing regions having a first polarizing direction and a plurality of second polarizing regions having a second polarizing direction perpendicular to the first polarizing direction. The first and second polarizing regions are alternately arranged with each other in the form of a matrix. The three dimensional video signal processor further includes a video/sync signal separator for separating the analog three dimensional video signal into an analog video signal and a synchronizing signal, a clock signal generator for generating a clock signal with a frequency corresponding to the synchronizing signal, a control signal generator for generating various control signals in response to the clock signal, an A/D converter for converting the analog video signal to a digital video signal, a first memory device for storing the part of the digital video signal belonging to the odd field, a second memory device for storing the part of the digital video signal belong to the even field of the digital video signal, and a multiplexer for multiplexing the left and right eye video signals respectively generated from the first and second field memory devices to generate a three dimensional digital video signal.

    • A horizontal position control circuit for use in high-resolution LCD monitors is disclosed. The horizontal position control circuit comprises a key pad for adjusting horizontal position of an image displayed; a key input controller for invoking a horizontal position control signal in response to input key signal; an analog-to-digital converter for dividing analog video signals by 2N (N=integers) and for converting the divided analog video signals into the corresponding digital video data; a frame memory for storing the digital video data output from the analog-to-digital converter; and a controller in response to the horizontal position control signal to adjust sampling point of the analog-to-digital converter so that the horizontal position is adjusted by unit pixel, and to adjust output timing of write enable signals directed to the frame memory so that the horizontal position is adjusted by multiple pixels. In the fine adjustment mode, the horizontal position is adjusted by the unit pixel, and in the coarse adjustment it is adjusted by multiple pixels. The fine adjustment is performed by controlling sampling point of the ADC block, while the coarse adjustment is performed by controlling write cycles of the frame memory block. The invention provides for an effective control of horizontal position of an image displayed in high-resolution LCD monitors above standard SXGA and UXGA modes by using the coarse adjustment function of the horizontal position controller.

    • An adapter device, which is connected between a host for outputting a sync-on-green (SOG) signal and a conventional display monitor, separates a sync signal from the SOG signal, and supplies red, blue, and SOG signals to a color display monitor together with the separated sync signal. The adapter device is composed of an adapter housing upon which three BNC connectors are mounted, and a D sub-connector which is connected to the housing through an adapter cable. A sync signal separating circuit is embedded in the housing, and a power of the circuit is supplied from the color display monitor through D sub-connector. Since the color display monitor need not have a special sync signal separating circuit for supporting an SOG signal mode, power consumption and manufacturing price can be reduced. And, a conventional color display monitor can be used in a color display apparatus of the SOG signal mode.

    • An internet interface service system and method are capable of connecting portable mobile terminals of users (such as notebook computers, palm top computers, network computers, PDAs, and the like) to a communication (or internet) network in public places (such as airports, conference places, bus terminals and the like). In accordance with the system and method, the mobile terminals are connected via the communication network to any of a plurality of information providing servers for receiving information. A settlement server is provided for performing electronic settlements of communication connection charges for the mobile terminals. An internet interface unit is provided for enabling the mobile terminals to be connected to the communication network and for charging the users of the mobile terminals for the usage of the internet interface service system. A central management server manages the internet interface unit, allocates dynamic IP addresses when the mobile terminals of users are connected to the internet interface unit, and releases the allocated addresses upon termination of communication of the mobile terminals.
