摘要： The present invention provides a composition comprising a sustained release layer and a fast release layer. The sustained release layer comprises a water-soluble polymer and a first pharmaceutically active agent. The fast release layer comprises a matrix forming agent and a second pharmaceutically active agent. Generally, the composition provides fast and sustained (or controlled) release of a pharmaceutically active agent for at least 6 hours and preferably for at least 1 to 3 days. The composition may be incorporated into a dosage unit form, such as a vaginal insert. Methods of preparing the composition are also provided.

A method of the present invention includes forming a layer of developable anti-reflective coating over a plurality of code openings located on a substrate of a ROM device. The plurality of code openings are typically elements of a first code, or pre-code, pattern, and a portion of the developable anti-reflective coating layer is removed or processed to define a second code, or real-code, pattern of the device. The method may be practiced by applying and patterning a layer of photoresist material over the developable anti-reflective coating to form a second code pattern, and then removing portions of the developable anti-reflective coating that remain exposed beneath the patterned photoresist material.

摘要： A cleaning sequence usable in semiconductor manufacturing efficiently cleans semiconductor substrates while preventing chemical oxide formation thereon. The sequence includes the sequence of: 1) treating with an HF solution; 2) treating with pure H2SO4; 3) treating with an H2O2 solution; 4) a DI water rinse; and 5) treatment with an HCl solution. The pure H2SO4 solution may include an H2SO4 concentration of about ninety-eight percent (98%) or greater. After the HCl solution treatment, the cleaned surface may be a silicon surface that is free of a chemical oxide having a thickness of 5 angstroms or greater. The invention finds particular advantage in semiconductor devices that utilize multiple gate oxide thicknesses.

摘要： A method of preparing a silicon layer or substrate surface for growing an epitaxial layer of SiGe thereon. The process comprises removing native oxide from the surface of the silicon with an HF solution, and then oxidizing the exposed silicon surface to form a chemically formed layer of silicon oxide of the process damaged silicon surface. The chemically formed layer of silicon oxide is then removed by a second HF cleaning process so as to leave a smooth silicon surface suitable for growing a SiGe layer.
