    • The present invention provides, at a low-manufacturing cost, a connector for connecting circuit boards to each other in which the area used exclusively for fastening the circuit boards is small, the work required in order to connect the circuit boards to each other in an electrically-continuous state is simple, and the connector has a simple structure. The connector for connecting circuit boards to each other comprises an insulating housing (11) which has a spacer member (12) that is disposed between upper and lower circuit boards (40,41), a conductive member (20) with a substantially C-shaped cross section is attached in a positional relationship such that the conductive member clamps onto the spacer member from above and below and establishes electrical continuity between conductive ground pads of the upper and lower circuit boards in a state in which the conductive member (20) is inserted between the upper and lower circuit boards (40,41), and a fastening means (30) fastens the upper and lower circuit boards to each other.

    • A card connector comprises a contact housing, a frame attached thereto configured to guide a card during insertion and removal, a pivoting arm pivotally disposed on the housing to eject the card, and an ejection mechanism disposed on the side of the frame configured to pivot the pivoting arm. The ejection mechanism comprises a first bar which has a button on one end and an engaging arm on the other end, a second bar which has a first engaging part on one end that selectively engages the engaging arm when the card is to be ejected and a second engaging part on the other end that engages with the pivoting arm, a cover supporting the first bar and second bar and allowing the bars to move in the forward-rearward direction, and forcing means that force the first bar rearward. The first bar and second bar are aligned with one another along a side wall of the frame. A locking projection on the frame engages the engaging arm preventing rearward retraction of the first bar. The locking projection has a tapered surface flexing the engaging arm outward with respect to the frame when the first bar is locked, permitting passage of the first engaging part of the second bar. A tapered part on the cover flexes the engaging arm upward when the first bar is released. A guide disposed on the second bar has a side edge that is engaged by the engaging arm when the first bar is released.

    • A card connector assembly that enables smooth insertion of a card into a card receiving opening, by preventing the front end of the card from striking the card receiving opening during insertion. The card connector assembly includes a frame, and an ejecting mechanism. The frame has a card receiving opening at a first end, and a connector at a second end. The connector electrically connects with a card, which is inserted into the frame. The ejecting mechanism includes a push rod, which is slidable in the insertion/ejection direction of the card. An eject button is provided at the end of the push rod on the side of the card receiving opening. A guide, for guiding the card to be inserted into the card receiving opening, is formed on the eject button.

In addition, a guide member is enabled to be urged upward stably, without increasing the number of parts. The IC socket includes: an insulative housing that holds a plurality of contacts; a cover plate; and a lever. A guide member, which includes: a pair of guide rails for guiding the IC package; and a link member for linking the guide rails to each other, is attached to the housing. Spring arms for urging the guide member upward are provided on the guide rails and the link member. Regulating members that regulate upward movement of the guide member at a position, where the guided IC package does not contact the electrical contacts, are provided on the housing and the guide member.
