    • An absolute-movement-path calculating apparatus includes a direction acquiring part detecting a movement direction of the terminal at a given timing; a movement-distance calculating part calculating a movement distance of the terminal at the given timing; a relative-movement-path calculating part calculating a relative movement path based on the number of steps and a user's step length and storing the relative movement path; an absolute-position acquiring part acquiring an absolute position of the terminal, and storing the absolute position; and an absolute-movement-path calculating part calculating, each time the absolute positions are stored, a correction value from the relationship between at least two absolute positions and the relative positions corresponding to the absolute positions and calculating an absolute movement path of the terminal indicated by the absolute coordinate from the correction value and the relative movement path.

    • A portable mobile terminal includes: a detection control unit; and a movement trajectory calculation unit configured to calculate a movement trajectory of a terminal body based on a detection result of an absolute position of the terminal body by the absolute position detecting unit and an acquisition result of a line segment indicating a rectilinear distance of the terminal body by a link information generation unit. The detection control unit determines a timing that comes every given time as a tentative detection timing, and in a case where the link information generation unit has not acquired a new line segment till the tentative detection timing after a previous detection timing, the detection control unit determines a timing at which the link information generation unit acquires a new line segment next as a detection timing, and starts up the absolute position detecting unit.

    • The present invention relates to a positional information service. A service center comprises a database for retaining bubble data in which spatial range information in a three-dimensional space is associated with retrieval information for obtaining service information to be provided, an extracting section for extracting, on the basis of positional information transmitted from the user terminal, specified retrieval information corresponding to specified spatial range information including the positional information, of the spatial range related in the database, and a providing section for providing, to the terminal, specified service information corresponding to the specified retrieval information extracted in the extracting section. This enables acquisition of information on a building in a predetermined range from the user terminal position or service information on a store existing in a specified building in a visual range, and further allows precise seizing of the user's moving direction.
