    • A liquid crystal display device constrains the injection of air bubbles in a cooling fluid into a display panel. In the display device, the cooling fluid is supplied to a receiving space of a receiving unit placed and opposed to a surface of a liquid crystal panel to which the light is emitted from a light source to thereby cool the liquid crystal panel. Namely, by a cooling fluid pump, the cooling fluid received in the receiving unit is drained from a drain port and the cooling fluid is supplied from a feed port to the receiving unit and received in the receiving space. In the above case, a part of a flow path of the cooling fluid supplied from the feed port is blocked by a flow path block unit placed and opposed to the feed port to thereby disperse the flow thereof around the flow path block unit.

    • A saddle-ride type four-wheeled vehicle has a structure that increases a tank capacity of a fuel tank and reduces a moment acting on a fixing position of a fuel pump disposed in the fuel tank. The saddle-ride type four-wheeled vehicle includes a fuel tank located above the head cover of the engine, and a fuel pump disposed in the fuel tank. The lower surface portion of the fuel tank includes, at a more forward position than the head cover, a deep bottom portion situated at a lowest position in the lower surface portion. The upper surface portion of the fuel tank includes, at a more rearward position than the deep bottom portion, an inclined portion arranged to extend rearward and obliquely downward. An upper end of the fuel pump is fixed to the inclined portion, and the fuel pump is arranged to extend forward and obliquely downward from the inclined portion toward the deep bottom portion.

    • Visible light data communication with a sufficient transmission speed is performed using a general-purpose and cost-advantageous blue-light-excitation-type white LED without using a blue color filter while preventing the element from being damaged. When transmission data is inputted to a driving waveform generation unit (110) in a transmitter (100), the driving waveform generation unit (110) and a multi-gray scale driving unit (120) generate a multi-gray scale driving signal, which is supplied to the blue-light-excitation-type white LED (140) and allows the blue-light-excitation-type white LED (140) to emit light. A light signal outputted from the blue-light-excitation-type white LED (140) is collected by a lens or the like, is made incident into a PD (210) in a receiver (200), and is converted to a current signal. The current signal is converted into a voltage signal in a trans-impedance amplifier (212). Further, the light signal is subjected to equalization processing in an equalizer (214) and then is digitized by a limiting amplifier (216), thereby obtaining output data.
