摘要： An electric four-wheel drive vehicle and a control unit for the same, which can be applied to cars of class having larger displacements than the class to which the electric four-wheel drive vehicle equipped with the DC motor is applied, without increasing the cost over that of the known mechanical four-wheel drive vehicle. Front wheels of the vehicle are driven by an engine, and rear wheels are driven by an AC motor. A generator is driven by a rotating force of the engine to output DC power. An inverter converts the DC power outputted from the generator to AC power. A control unit controls the generator such that energy Pm required for driving the AC motor is outputted from the generator.

摘要： In a hybrid car, or an electric motor-driven four-wheel-drive vehicle, in which an electric motor is driven directly by an output from a generator, vehicle running performance is enhanced. The output from the generator is controlled so as to maintain a generator torque in a range, in which the vehicle does not stall. Specifically, a driving apparatus for the hybrid car includes a second generator 2 driven by an engine 1 for driving one pair of either front or rear wheels 14, 15, an electric motor 5 driven through directly receiving the output from the second generator 2 and driving the other pair of either the front or rear wheels 14, 15, and a four-wheel-drive control unit 6 controlling driving of the second generator 2 and the electric motor 5. When the engine 1 is in an overloaded condition, the four-wheel-drive control unit 6 limits the output of the second generator 2.

摘要： A seal structure has one metal gasket arranged between a pair of casings. The metal gasket is provided with a planate outer peripheral portion and a bead portion which is formed by rising up from an inner peripheral end portion of the outer peripheral portion, and is arranged so that the bead portion comes into contact with the one casing, and the outer peripheral portion comes into contact with the other casing. The bead portion elastically deforms so as to reduce its height and the outer peripheral portion elastically deforms on the basis of the elastic deformation of the bead portion, when the metal gasket is pinched by the pair of casings, and a leading end of the outer peripheral portion comes into contact with one casing at this time, whereby any gap in which salt water stays is not formed between one casing and the metal gasket.
